JUST IN: Austin Police has detained multiple "protesters" outside the scene of an ICE officer-involved shooting in North Austin, Texas

NEW: A Belleville Canada resident captured the exchange of gunfire as a police officer providing security at the Sons of Jacob synagogue engaged the attacker and was shot.

The shooter was neutralized, and police say there is no continuing threat to the public.

UPDATE ON DOG KICKER

Last year in Pittsburg, CA, Lagashia Williams ordered her daughter Graciela Amar to kick a 2.8 lb. senior Chihuahua named Gigi during a neighbor dispute.  Amar launched the tiny dog through the air, causing severe liver and leg injuries.

Williams then filed a false police report.  Both had their felonies downgraded to misdemeanors.

Amar got suspended probation and 100 hours community service. In May 2026 Williams pleaded no contest to misdemeanor animal cruelty and received 1 year probation plus 120 hours. 

Both must serve those hours at an animal shelter. 

Would you want either of these women around animals at a shelter? The judge let them off easy and then sentenced the animals at the shelter.

JUST IN: DHS releases first statement in Austin ICE shooting.

"Homeland Security Investigations, with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is leading the investigation into the officer involved shooting of an illegal alien from Venezuela, who illegally entered our country under the Biden administration and had a final order of removal, during a law enforcement operation today in Austin, TX.

The illegal alien’s condition is stable, and he is in federal custody pending removal.

This is a developing situation, and we will update the public when more information becomes available."

The latest on ICE shooting in Austin TX: An illegal alien from Venezuela is in federal custody after being shot by an ICE officer in Austin, sparking protests as questions remain over what led up to the incident.

Brooke Taylor reports DHS says 28-year-old Wilber Garces Perez entered the U.S. illegally during the Biden administration and had a final order of removal. His attorney says he was making a DoorDash delivery when he was shot in the torso.

About 100 protesters gathered at the scene, with local reports claiming rocks and water bottles were thrown at law enforcement.

DHS has not yet said what prompted the officer to open fire.

An illegal alien previously cut loose in New York is now charged with r*pe in Maryland.

Abdoulaye Dia, 36, of Guinea, is being held without bond in Montgomery County on first-degree r*pe, kidnapping, second-degree as$ault, and third-degree s*x offense. Police say a 17-year-old girl went to a hospital earlier in September after an Empower rideshare driver took her to a Silver Spring parking lot on Sept. 15.

Detectives used the app to identify him and arrested him in Lanham.

Homeland Security says he crossed illegally near Arizona in December 2023 and was released. In June he was picked up in New York City on s*xual abuse by forcible compulsion, forcible touching, injuring a child under 17, and s*xual abuse without consent.

The Brooklyn DA asked that he be held on bond. Instead, a judge put him on supervised release. These are the types of people progressives are fighting tooth and nail to keep from being apprehend by ICE and removed from the country.
