Jennifer Sprague and Shanan Buckingham spent nearly six weeks prosecuting the case against a woman accused of m*rdering her three children.
Both prosecutors are mothers themselves. Every night they left that courtroom and went home to THEIR OWN families.
And according to Plymouth County DA Tim Cruz, people didn’t just attack them online. Their home addresses were posted, threats were made against them and their families were dragged into it.
All because they did their jobs.
You can believe the prosecution was wrong. You can argue every piece of evidence, criticize their strategy and disagree with every word they said in that courtroom.
But once you start publishing where prosecutors LIVE and threatening their families because you don’t like the case they brought, you’ve completely lost the plot.
These women were prosecuting the deaths of Cora, Dawson and Callan.
Their families should never have become targets for it.

Officials said it happened just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, near Eddy Street Commons.
According to police, the people shot were a woman and a police officer. Both were taken to a hospital and are expected to be OK. Police said the officer was hit by either shrapnel or a ricochet.
Police said another person was injured during the incident, but not by gunfire. According to police, the injury probably happened during the fight.

NEW: A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper and one other person was injured in a crash Saturday afternoon in Sullivan, Missouri, according to a MSHP spokesperson.
The crash involved one Missouri highway patrol trooper on Hawthorn Drive near Missouri Route 185, according to MSHP Sgt. Andrew Gadberry.
The crash involved two vehicles, and one person in each vehicle suffered injuries.
The extent of the trooper’s or other person’s injuries have not been disclosed at this time. Please, praying for all involved.🙏🏻

NEW: A deputy of the Monroe County NY Sheriff's Office was taken to the hospital after losing control and crashing into a car on Monroe Orleans County Line Road.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the deputy was responding to a separate call on Roosevelt Highway – where it turns onto Monroe-Orleans County Line Rd.
MCSO says the deputy lost control when maneuvering a curve, left the roadway, got back onto the roadway, and struck a passing vehicle.
Inside the vehicle were a female driver and two passengers, including a juvenile. The driver and juvenile had minor injuries. They refused treatment.
The deputy was taken to a hospital.

Please, praying for the Roanoke Texas police officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty this morning.🙏🏻
In the early morning hours of September 20, 2026, an officer with the Roanoke Police Department was involved in a serious motor vehicle collision.
Officers were conducting traffic enforcement along SH 114 in response to numerous complaints involving motorcycles traveling at high speeds in the area while attending an event at Texas Motor Speedway.
The officer, who was operating a police motorcycle, attempted to stop a motorcycle when the rider fled from the officer. During the incident, both the officer and the fleeing motorcyclist were involved in a collision with another vehicle on SH 114, just west of I-35W.
The officer was transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
