AGAIN AND AGAIN: HORRIFIC: Police say an intoxicated driver crossed into oncoming traffic and slammed head-on into a car, k*lling 27-year-old Alex Nunez and sending a THREE-YEAR-OLD CHILD to the hospital.

New Braunfels police say 25-year-old Rafael Alejandro Arreguin-Ramirez showed signs of intoxication when his pickup crossed the center line and struck Nunez’s sedan.

Nunez d*ed at the scene. The toddler riding with him survived and was taken to the hospital.

Arreguin-Ramirez was charged with intoxication manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

And his passenger allegedly made the whole thing even worse.

Police say 23-year-old Alejandro Aguillen Acosta RAN from the crash, fled into the surrounding neighborhood and was eventually found HIDING INSIDE A NEARBY GARAGE. He was arrested for evading and criminal trespass.

Police identify both men as being from Mexico. WE DON'T HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!

Authorities in Washington state shared video of fireworks being launched off a moving vehicle, which is what they say started a deadly wildfire. Officials say the fireworks ignited dry grass along the road, sparking the Chelan Hills Fire.

A 19-year-old was arrested Thursday in connection with the deadly Chelan Hills Fire that killed one person, injured six firefighters and caused more than $6 million in losses.

Whale hello there! 🐋

A humpback whale has been spotted in the Delta near Rio Vista Bridge on the Sacramento River. Witnesses say the whale came pretty close to shore. This incident is similar to one of the most famous marine visitors, "Humphrey the Humpback whale," who made his way to the Sacramento River and caused a scene in Rio Vista in 1985 and 1990, before he had to be rescued and led back to the ocean.

NOW: Philadelphia police continue to investigate a home linked to the disappearance of seven missing women. Some have been missing for over a decade.

The home belonged to convicted drug trafficker R.C. Horsch, who died last year, and his son Eugene Horsch.

Broome County Sheriff Fred Akshar is one of 15 New York sheriffs SUING the state over a new law restricting their ability to work with ICE, and now he’s taken that fight straight to Congress.

Akshar told lawmakers New York’s Local Cops, Local Crimes Act forced his department to terminate its 287(g) agreement with ICE.

His department used that agreement inside the jail, where trained officers could assist federal authorities with immigration warrants and custody transfers involving people already in custody.

New York officials say the law keeps local resources focused on local policing and away from federal civil immigration enforcement. Akshar says the state is taking decisions away from locally elected sheriffs.

Now 15 sheriffs are challenging the law in federal court, and Akshar just brought the fight to Capitol Hill. LFG!!!

Bystander footage from the scene of this week’s horrific bus crash in Chatsworth shows the suspect, identified as Bailee Rios of Simi Valley, alert and awake inside her wrecked Ford SUV moments after the impact that killed two people aboard the bus.

She has been charged with tow counts of murder due to her prior arrests/convictions and bail is set at over $4 million. She is due in court today, Friday 9/18 to answer to these charges.

A runaway emu was captured after escaping from a petting zoo and wandering through Spring Valley, New York, with police using a drone to help track down the bird.

Video released by the Ramapo Police Department shows officers cornering the emu before securing a leash around its neck and bringing its unexpected trip to an end.
