The story of the East Haven Four police: they discovered a massive illegal immigrant crime ring, the Obama DOJ put the 4 decorated officers in prison for it.

β€œIt remains one of the most glaring examples of political prosecution in modern American law enforcement history.”

NEW: 100+ House Democrats sign on to a letter that demands House Speaker Mike Johnson cancel the House's upcoming recess and instead keep Congress in session to "confront the AI crisis".

"At least Nero had the decency to stay in town while Rome burned," said Rep. Sam Liccardo (D-CA). β€œSpeaker Mike Johnson is shutting down Congress for seven weeks. The American people need action, not vacation.”

A man accused of m*rder can't be charged because prosecutors MISSED A DEADLINE. Austin police accused Peter Perius of k*lling 36-year-old Natalie Renee Pearce, leaving her body under a tarp for two days and then hiding her remains beneath a backyard burn pit.

Perius was arrested for MURDER and held on a $500,000 bond.

Then the case sat long enough for the Travis County District Attorney's Office to miss the required indictment deadline, and a judge dismissed the m*rder charge.

Perius eventually pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence involving a human corpse and received 10 years, with 766 days of credit already applied toward the sentence.

There was never a m*rder trial.

Whatever a jury ultimately might have decided, Natalie Pearce and her family deserved to have the allegation prosecuted competently enough to GET TO A JURY.

Instead, one of the most serious charges imaginable disappeared because prosecutors failed to meet a deadline.

Absolutely unbelievable.

The Environmental Law Institute has become the CCP’s middleman.

ELI's radical climate litigation undermines US energy security, weakens our industrial capacity, and makes us dependent on Chinese tech that is full of kill switches.

It's time for Congress to investigate.

The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Special Agent Quincy Kjerstad.

Agent Kjerstad started his career with the Attorney General’s Office in 2017 as an Assistant Attorney General before joining DCI as a Special Agent in 2023. He served as a major crimes investigator stationed out of the Rapid City field office. He served with dedication and professionalism and will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him.

Beyond his service as a Special Agent, Agent Kjerstad was a devoted husband and father to three young children. Those who knew him best knew that his dedication to his family was every bit as strong as his devotion to his career in law enforcement. He cherished his role as a husband and father and took great pride in his family.

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.πŸ™πŸ»
