I will forever be sick to my stomach when I think about what happened to Charlie Kirk one year ago today. And I will never forget seeing President Trumpβs absolutely devastated reaction when learning the news of his murder while sitting at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.
Itβs still so hard to believe Charlie is actually gone.
In his memory, may we recommit ourselves as conservatives to respectfully speaking the truth, especially with those whom we strongly disagree.
Rest in Peace, Charlie. You are deeply missed here on Earth, but we know you are in Heaven.
May God continue to bless Charlieβs parents, Erika Kirk, and their beautiful babies.

Ford really had the proportions right on these. Long hood, short rear deck, fastback roofline, hood scoop, rear louvers, just enough going on without making it look overdone.
Still one of the coolest shapes from peak muscle-era Ford.

MORE REAL HISTORY, PLEASE! Texas students are going to be taught that radical Islam motivated the 9/11 attacks.
The State Board of Education approved new high-school social studies standards that include that language, along with lessons about Muhammadβs military campaigns against Jewish and Christian tribes and the role of slavery in early Islamic expansion.
Muslim advocates and other critics objected, saying the revisions portray Islam unfairly and omit important contributions. Some have pledged to fight the standards before they reach classrooms in 2030.
Students deserve an honest account of history, including the parts that make people uncomfortable. Nearly 25 years after 9/11, teaching what motivated the terrorists is a basic obligation to the children learning about the Americans they k*lled.

UPDATE: A San Bernardino County man was arrested today on a federal grand jury indictment charging him and two other defendants with paying people on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles to sign petitions using stolen identities of registered voters to qualify initiatives on ballots in California elections.
James Brass, 47, a.k.a. βLord,β of Victorville, was arrested this morning and is expected to make his initial appearance this afternoon in United States District Court in Riverside.
Also charged in the two-count indictment are two petition circulators who worked for Brass: Courtney Price, 49, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jateisha Herron, 33, of Boron, California.
All three defendants are charged with one count of conspiracy to commit identity fraud in furtherance of a state felony. Brass and Price are charged with an additional count of identity fraud in furtherance of a state felony.
Patrick Grandy, FBI Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's Los Angeles Field Office, said,
βIt is imperative that Americans have confidence in our voting system and election infrastructure. The scheme outlined in todayβs indictment sought to undermine an essential pillar of our democracy and cause an undue burden on taxpayers. We will remain vigilant in detecting those trying to weaken our political process and we will aggressively investigate any allegations of voter fraud or other election crimes.β

NEW: Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis announced the arrest of a Ladson man who was charged after he assaulted a deputy on a traffic stop. Devon Marquell McCants, 36, of Curly Lane is being charged with Resisting Arrest with Assault on Law Enforcement, Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Cocaine, Burglary second degree, Petit Larceny, and Shoplifting.
On August 28, just before 1 a.m., a Berkeley County Sheriffβs Office deputy observed a vehicle traveling on Ancrum Road toward Highway 78. The deputy observed multiple traffic violations, including improper lane travel, failure to signal and defective vehicle equipment. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and a front-seat passenger. During the investigation, the passenger (McCants) initially provided the deputy with a false name and date of birth. While the deputy was conducting records checks, McCants suddenly exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The deputy immediately pursued McCants on foot. During the foot pursuit, the deputy observed McCants placing plastic bags into his mouth and chewing them. The suspect also discarded a plastic bag in the grass as he ran. McCants attempted to climb over a chain-link fence but was unsuccessful. As the deputy attempted to take him into custody, McCants punched the deputy in the face with a closed fist, causing injuries to the deputyβs mouth.
A physical struggle followed, during which McCants placed the deputy in a chokehold, restricting the deputyβs ability to breathe. The deputy deployed his agency-issued Taser, causing the suspect to release the chokehold.

NEW: Honolulu PD just rolled on Kaimana Beach after beach staff called 911 on a man tearing through the sand. Witnesses say he looked high, yelling, swearing, throwing rocks at a wall, and scaring families off the beach. Video shows officers locating him, locking him up, and carrying him out.
Great job dealing with another violent beach drug addict. No thanks to Senator Mazie Hirono and the rest of the Democrat machine in HawaiΚ»i for letting these people camp all over public beaches.
Honolulu law makes it illegal to camp in a public park that is not a designated campground. They just do not enforce it until someone is already throwing rocks at tourists.
