BREAKING: This morning, the FBI and our partners arrested a subject near Los Angeles for allegedly paying homeless individuals on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles to sign petitions in support of ballot initiativesโ€”all using stolen identities of registered voters.

Two additional petition circulators have also been charged in the investigation. All three subjects are charged with conspiracy to commit identity fraud in furtherance of a state felony, among other charges.

Securing American elections from criminal interference is of the utmost importance to this FBI.

If you mess with our elections, this FBI will find you.

Great work by FBI Los Angeles and our partners.

The Charleston County Sheriffโ€™s Office, SC, is deeply saddened to confirm the passing of 33-year-old Charleston County Deputy Michael Hendricks, who was involved in a vehicle collision Wednesday, September 9, 2026, while on duty. Deputy Hendricks joined the Sheriffโ€™s Office in April of 2023, and most recently served as a member of our Metro Unit.

This news has deeply affected all of us. Deputy Hendricks was known for showing up every day ready to serve and ready to help othersโ€”that commitment didnโ€™t stop when he went home.

We are grieving alongside his family, friends, and coworkers, and ask our community to keep them in their thoughts. Out of respect for the family, we will share additional information when appropriate.

Rest In Peace, Hero๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’™

California Election Fraud Update:

James Brass, 47, of Victorville, was arrested today on a federal indictment charging him with paying people on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles to sign petitions using stolen identities of registered voters to qualify initiatives on ballots in California elections.

Brass is expected to make his initial appearance this afternoon in United States District Court in Riverside.

Also charged in the two-count indictment are two petition circulators who worked for Brass: Courtney Price, 49, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jateisha Herron, 33, of Boron, California.

All three defendants are charged with one count of conspiracy to commit identity fraud in furtherance of a state felony. Brass and Price are charged with an additional count of identity fraud in furtherance of a state felony.

The charged conduct undermines the confidence voters have in our election systems. We will vigorously investigate and charge anyone involved in corrupting our elections.

๐ŸšจNEW: A new USPS Inspector General audit found some Postal Service locations failed to properly handle mail-in ballots during this yearโ€™s primary elections.

The audit cited inadequate staff training, ballot-tracking deficiencies, and errors that caused delays โ€” potentially putting ballots at risk of being incorrectly postmarked or arriving too late to be counted.

The findings come as the Supreme Court considers the Trump administrationโ€™s election-related USPS rules.

โ€œThat is the most laughable contention...โ€

Dramatic or deceptive? Amy Actonโ€™s campaign CLAIMED an armed man โ€œlunged at herโ€, but the video evidence shows (and the prosecutor affirms) he NEVER GOT NEAR HER.

Patrick Havas was arrested at Ohioโ€™s Canfield Fair after authorities said he pushed through a crowd and knocked two people down. He was carrying weapons, but the sheriffโ€™s office says he never drew or brandished them.

Mahoning County Prosecutor Lynn Maro says his recording shows him approaching while calling Actonโ€™s name before security intervenes. An initial search of his phone found no threats, and Maro said the video did NOT support felony charges.

So what REALLY happened? And is this a case of crying wolf or an outright case of trying to manipulate voters?
