GOOD RIDDANCE: Rosie Speedlin Gonzalez is permanently banned from serving as a Texas judge after ordering a defense attorney HANDCUFFED during a courtroom dispute.

The Bexar County judge had attorney Elizabeth Russell put in cuffs during a disagreement over how one of Russell’s clients was handling a plea.

That decision eventually came back to bite her HARD.

Gonzalez was indicted on charges of unlawful restraint and official oppression and suspended from the bench.

Then in April, she signed an agreement resigning from office and becoming permanently disqualified from judicial service in Texas. She won't be missed.

NEW DETAILS: The Amazon cargo plane that overran a runway in Miami traveled roughly 1,300 feet beyond the paved surface, striking airport equipment, a van carrying seven people and a car, according to the NTSB.

The plane first hit navigational equipment before slamming into the contract cleaning company van.

The plane then tore through a perimeter fence, struck a Toyota, and continued into the grass before hitting another fence near an area where Tesla robotaxis were stationed.

THIS MAKES ZERO SENSE: Fairfax prosecutors agreed to ANOTHER m*rder defendant's conditional release just TEN DAYS after a man in a similar case flew out of the country.

Both men had been found not guilty by reason of insanity and committed to mental-health facilities.

Alexander Jahelka was accused of stabbing his 66-year-old father to death in Reston in 2021. On July 16, the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office agreed with a recommendation for Jahelka's conditional release, and a judge approved it.

Ten days earlier ANOTHER violent defendant, Abdulloi Toshpulodzoda, boarded a one-way flight to Tajikistan while on leave from a Northern Virginia mental-health facility.

You would think THAT might trigger an immediate and serious reassessment of how these releases are being handled.

Apparently Fairfax was comfortable moving forward anyway. Residents deserve to know why.

POLICE OFFICER MURDERED IN CHARLOTTE ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND OVER ARGUMENT ABOUT WOMAN

Tyrell Valentine, 36, is charged with the murder of police officer Manuel Martinez, 33, in Charlotte, NC. Officer Martinez was a cop in North Carolina.  The murder was on Labor Day weekend September 6, 2026.

On Labor Day weekend 2026 Manuel Martinez, 33, was shot dead on Labor Day weekend September 6, 2026 in the center city area of Charlotte, NC. Manuel was a police officer.

Martinez was in Charlotte to view the Charlotte FC soccer game. After the game Martinez hung out with some pals at bars and nightclubs.

Girls were coming onto Officer Martinez while he was without uniform. Other men in the club got jealous that Officer Martinez was getting all the girls, so a argument started. 

The altercation spilled out onto West Trade Street and the suspects shot Officer Martinez dead, he died on scene.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11, NYPD Police Officer Casey Kloepfer’s graduation from the NYPD Police Academy this June carries special meaning.

Casey was just four years old when his father, Police Officer Ronald Kloepfer, made the ultimate sacrifice responding to the World Trade Center. Twenty-five years later, Casey now wears the same uniform, carrying his father’s legacy of service forward.

This is TERRIFYING. A 53-year-old art teacher accused of repeatedly r*ping his 17-year-old student in his classroom was just arrested for allegedly STALKING THE SAME GIRL after she came forward.

John Kennedy's former Bay Shore High School student is now 18. Her lawsuit alleges Kennedy groomed and s*xually abused her for months while she was his student, including inside his classroom.

Then she says he wouldn't leave her alone.

Court papers allege Kennedy repeatedly drove past her house, followed her to her place of education and continued the behavior after being told to stay away.
Thursday morning, police say she spotted Kennedy following her AGAIN from her home to Selden and called 911.

He was arrested later that day and charged with stalking. He pleaded not guilty Friday, and a judge issued a temporary order of protection.

This girl accused her former teacher of abusing her. Then, according to police, she had to start watching for him outside her own HOME.

A retired NYPD chief from Massapequa Park who dedicated his life to serving his country has died from a 9/11-related illness.

Charles Kammerdener passed away Friday at the age of 78.

Kammerdener's years of service began with the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served in Vietnam. He joined the New York City Police Department in 1972 and spent nearly four decades rising through the ranks before retiring in 2011 as a three-star chief overseeing the Special Operations for the NYPD.
