“HIJAB HOCHUL” IS BACK: Less than TWO WEEKS before the 25th anniversary of 9/11, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is out COSPLAYING in an Islamic head covering at an event with Muslim leaders... while retired Port Authority cops are separately telling her to STAY AWAY from Ground Zero.

Hochul appeared Friday at an event publicized by the Islamic Cultural Center of New York, thanking an ambassador, an imam and other leaders while wearing the head covering. Video hit social media this weekend and the backlash exploded.

And the timing is unbelievable.

On September 11, New York will mark 25 years since Islamist terrorists murdered nearly 3,000 people, including 37 Port Authority police officers.

Now the 600-member Port Authority Retired Police Association has asked Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani NOT to attend the Ground Zero ceremony, saying their presence would cause “profound pain” to the 9/11 community over separate actions they consider deeply offensive.

Twelve days before one of the most painful anniversaries in New York history, THIS is the image the governor is choosing to put out there.

It's tone deaf, and it's not surprising whatsoever.

Virginia lost a Legend this weekend with the passing of Martinsville Sheriff Steve Draper.

"Sheriff Draper’s service to Martinsville began in 1973, when he first joined the Martinsville Sheriff’s Office. What began as a career in public service became a lifetime of dedication to this office, this community, and the people he was honored to serve.

In 1993, he ran for the Office of Sheriff and was elected by the citizens of Martinsville. He took office in 1994 and went on to serve as Sheriff for more than three decades, becoming known as the longest-serving Sheriff in the Commonwealth of Virginia. His extraordinary tenure reflected not only his devotion to public service, but also the tremendous trust the citizens of Martinsville placed in him throughout the years.

For more than half a century, Sheriff Draper dedicated his life to this community. He witnessed generations grow, worked alongside generations of employees, and served countless citizens throughout his career. To many, he was the Sheriff they had known for most, if not all, of their lives.

To the men and women of the Martinsville Sheriff’s Office, he was more than our Sheriff. He was a leader, mentor, colleague, and friend. His presence was a constant within this office, and his guidance, character, and commitment helped shape the Martinsville Sheriff’s Office into what it is today."

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.🙏🏻

Our Kentucky State Police work hard every day to keep Kentuckians safe, and Trooper Blaine Miller showed that commitment and helped save the lives of four family members after a bad car crash on I-65. His bravery and quick action made a difference, and I was proud to honor him.

🚨Police officers Zullo, Miller, Cari, and Spaulding were serving their small community of East Haven, Connecticut.

After Obama was elected (and threw open our borders), illegal immigrants started flooding into town. These four officers discovered thousands of these illegal immigrants were using forged documents to obtain license plates, fake car insurance cards, and even fake driver’s licenses.

So these officers did their jobs—enforcing the law and making hundreds of arrests.

Every single person arrested for their involvement in this crime ring was an illegal immigrant — including dozens of suspects with rap sheets a mile long.

So Obama’s DOJ showed up—not to thank these four officers for their hard work in breaking up this crime ring and getting dangerous criminals off the streets...

...the Obama DOJ accused them of racism and launched a political witch hunt, charging all four men with federal crimes for doing their jobs.

Not only that, they launched a vicious smear campaign in the media, painting the officers as hateful monsters.

They were sent to prison.

They lost everything.

Now they're telling their stories—and seeking justice: A pardon from President Trump.

President Trump should pardon the East Haven Four – not as an act of mercy, but as an act of justice.

A pardon cannot undo the harm caused by the Obama DOJ's political persecution—but it can redeem them in the eyes of the law and restore their good names.

GAVIN NEWSOM WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT, and California lawmakers are moving a bill toward his desk that would add TWO Islamic holidays to the state’s official holiday list after the Assembly passed it by an insane 64 TO 1 vote.

AB 2017 would recognize Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as state holidays and allow public schools to close for them under specified agreements. It also allows schools to hold exercises celebrating the meaning and significance of the Islamic holidays.
And California lawmakers are barely even pretending this is controversial.
SIXTY-FOUR TO ONE.

The bill is now moving through the Senate, putting Newsom closer to a decision that could follow him straight onto the national stage as he positions himself for 2028.

California voters have already seen what Gavin Newsom does with power.
The rest of America should be watching VERY closely.

UPDATE: As of this evening, recovery operations have been completed for a 46-year-old male near Crystal Rapids along the Colorado River. The Coconino County Medical Examiner's Office is currently onsite. There is no additional information to share at this…
GRAND CANYON UPDATE: Two people are dead and about 15 remain missing following major flash flooding in Grand Canyon National Park over the weekend, according to park officials.

The National Park Service said the body of a 46-year-old man was recovered Sunday evening near Crystal Rapids on the Colorado River. A second body has since been recovered.

Search, evacuation and response efforts continue as crews work to account for people who may have been in Bright Angel Canyon and the Phantom Ranch area when flooding hit Saturday afternoon.

Officials are asking anyone with information about hikers or backpackers who were in the area, including along the North Kaibab Trail, at Bright Angel Campground or in “the Box” north of Phantom Ranch, to contact the National Park Service.

The number of people believed to be missing could change as officials continue accounting for visitors. The storm moved through the area Saturday at 2:30 in the afternoon.

NEW: The Florida Bar has rejected a request to investigate DHS General Counsel James Percival for his social media posts criticizing liberal federal judges for their rulings against DHS.

The bar writes that it: “does not investigate or prosecute sitting officers appointed under the U.S. Constitution while they are in office”, because doing so would “encroach on the authority of the federal government concerning these officials.”
