A moment of extreme cuteness on a Texas ranch has been winning people over.

Kelly Coleman captured the adorable scene, as a kitten, raccoon, and two toddlers were living their best lives while playing on her ranch.

Coleman said she bottle-reared the raccoon after it was found as a newborn by her son. Now, she says, β€œshe knows no different. She plays with the cats and dogs and thinks she is one of them.”

β€œI exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

THIS MAN GOT IT DONE! A restaurant lobby full of men apparently watched a younger guy attacking an older man. ONE EMPLOYEE finally decided he'd seen enough.

Hakeem LaPierre says he stepped in at Boots & Sonny's Drive-In in Spartanburg after seeing a younger man β€œjumping on” an older customer while everyone else stood around.

Police say Gregory Tyricus Jacobs got into an altercation with the man and began punching him.

The older guy wasn't exactly helpless. Video shows him fighting back and ultimately sending Jacobs OVER THE COUNTER.

But Hakeem's explanation for jumping in may be the best part of this entire story. He said he simply thought about what he would want somebody to do if the older man were his own father or grandfather.

Police later charged Jacobs with two counts of third-degree assault and battery.
Hakeem says he isn't a hero.

Fine.

How about β€œthe guy whose parents clearly taught him not to stand around watching somebody get beaten”? We need more of this.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Massive ICE Raid in Memphis, Tennessee Bar

ICE just filled more than three trucks at a bar called El CorralΓ³n in the wee hours of the morning, Kim "Katie" reports.

Agents hit the place and loaded illegal aliens until the vans were packed.  This is exactly what we voted for, and it is what we want to see.

Next do the flea markets, the food-venue parties, and every other spot like this where you can take dozens, if not hundreds, at once.

SHOULD MUSLIM WOMEN GET DIFFERENT RULES DURING JAIL BOOKING?

One woman's arrest could now force a Georgia jail to change how it handles Muslim women during booking, searches and mugshots.

And there is a law-enforcement safety question here that shouldn't be ignored.

Ivana Elliott alleges Bartow County jail officers forced her to remove her hijab and undercap in front of male officers, photographed her uncovered despite her objections and subjected her to a strip search involving male officers.

Her attorneys now want a federal court to require policy changes allowing Muslim women to keep their hijabs on for booking photos and to receive private searches by female officers when possible. They also want Elliott's uncovered booking photograph removed from continued use.

Religious accommodations are nothing new. But jails also have a responsibility to positively identify every person they book and make sure clothing and personal items aren't concealing contraband or anything that could endanger officers, inmates or the detainee herself.

So where does accommodation end when it interferes with those procedures?

If other detainees can be required to remove hats, clothing or other items for identification and searches, should religious head coverings be treated differently? And if they are, what safeguards make sure officers can still fully inspect them?

This lawsuit isn't only about what happened to ONE woman. It is asking a federal court to establish different procedures for Muslim women going forward.

Religious liberty deserves protection. Law-enforcement officers also need to be able to do their jobs safely.

Where should the line be?

Prepared, ready to assist and committed to public safety.

Yesterday morning, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office received a request for assistance from the East Palo Alto Police Department after a dangerous suspect fled from them on foot. The suspect then entered the San Francisco Bay, not far from Cooley Landing in East Palo Alto.

Sheriff’s deputies and three Sheriff’s Office K-9 teams quickly answered the call. With deputies positioned along the shore and a CHP helicopter providing aerial support, East Palo Alto police officers safely took the suspect into custody aboard Menlo Park Fire Protection District’s boat.

This was a coordinated effort involving multiple agencies β€” all committed to working together to protect our community.
