In March, Cheryl Minter trusted me to tell her story for the first time about her daughter Stephanie, who was killed this year at a bus stop in Fairfax County, Virginia.
The accused killer is an illegal immigrant who was previously arrested more than 30 times.
Despite numerous warnings from police about how dangerous Abdul Jalloh was, Fairfax County Commonwealthβs Attorney Steve Descanoβs office released him back into the community several times.
Now, Cheryl is asking people to sign a petition to recall Descano, so this does not happen to you or another family.

God help our education system, this just gets worse and worse. A 46-YEAR-OLD TEXAS EDUCATOR is accused of s*xually assaulting a 16-year-old student and investigators say the teenager eventually started blackmailing her over it.
Somehow, the allegations get even worse from there.
Kristi Rae Hanks worked for Dickinson ISD in a juvenile justice alternative education program, where she was entrusted with students who already needed responsible adults around them.
Court records say investigators uncovered s*xually explicit messages and images between Hanks and the teenager. A witness also told police the boy claimed Hanks gave him roughly $2,000 AND A FIREARM after he threatened to expose their alleged relationship.
Hanks denies having a s*xual relationship with him and denies giving him money or a gun. Investigators say phone records showed more than 20 connections between the two despite her claim that they did not communicate outside school.
This is an EPIDEMIC. Make an example of these "teachers"!

Los Angeles: On July 29, 2026, at around 6:25pm., uniformed patrol officers assigned to Olympic Division responded to a report of an Assault with a Deadly Weapon (ADW) suspect there now, at a gas station located at Normandie Avenue and Washington Boulevard.
The reporting party stated that the suspect, armed with a metal bat, had shattered the windows of multiple vehicles and attempted to strike passing community members. As officers approached the location, the overhead air unit advised the officers that the suspect was walking southbound on Normandie Avenue beneath the Interstate 10 Freeway.
Officers located the suspect walking toward them while holding an aluminum bat in his right hand. After exiting their patrol vehicle, officers repeatedly ordered the suspect to drop the bat. The suspect refused to comply with verbal direction, continued advancing toward the officers, and raised the bat with both hands into a swinging position resulting in an Officer-Involved Shooting (OIS). The suspect was struck once, fell to the ground, and dropped the bat. Officers formed an arrest team, took the suspect into custody, and immediately rendered medical aid until personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived and assumed care. The suspect was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
A 35-inch aluminum softball bat was recovered at the scene and booked as evidence. No officers or community members were injured during the incident.

Imagine hating America so much that allegedly dragging an American flag behind your car wasn't enough... you had to COME BACK and destroy it again. If you hate it here that much just LEAVE.
Police records show 24-year-old Mahamud Hassan Mahamed was arrested after an American flag was vandalized outside an Edina, Minnesota, property.
Witnesses told Crime Watch Minneapolis that a man ripped the flag down, attached it to his vehicle and dragged it through the street until bystanders stepped in and rescued it (THANK YOU, PATRIOTS!). Then, according to two people who contacted Crime Watch, the same man RETURNED later and shredded what was left.
Mahamed was booked on a property-damage charge and already has a separate pending felony threats-of-violence case.
Thank God there were Americans standing there who cared enough to grab that flag, even though he ultimately came back to finish the job.

America has problems of our own that Washington needs to start taking seriously.
Weβre $40 trillion in debt. Our border is still vulnerable. Our immigration system is broken.

Iβve seen the videos from this weekendβs street takeovers, and theyβre outrageous. Reports indicate an NYPD officer was injured after his vehicle was intentionally struck, and an innocent driver was also hit. We cannot allow this lawlessness to become the new normal.
These takeovers arenβt spontaneous. It takes planning to get 100-plus vehicles to the same location at the same time. Yet weβve repeatedly seen a single NYPD patrol car arrive first, only to be surrounded and overwhelmed.
Last April in my district, a patrol carβs windshield was shattered. This weekend, another officer was reportedly injured.
Thatβs why I introduced Intro 984.
New York City needs a dedicated NYPD street takeover unit focused solely on these incidents citywide. The unit would monitor publicly available social media, coordinate a real-time response, and deploy the personnel and equipment needed to safely shut these events down.
One patrol car is simply not enough.

AGAIN AND AGAIN: After THIRTEEN prior arrests, a New York City school employee is dead. Someone needs to pull EVERY ONE of those cases and find the judges and sentences responsible for this epideic.
Police say 32-year-old school paraprofessional Rashaun Shettlewood was stabbed to de*th in the Bronx while his friend was also stabbed and seriously wounded.
Officers arrested 37-year-old Jeffrey Jorge the following morning and charged him with m*rder and attempted m*rder.
Then police sources told the New York Post that Jorge had been arrested THIRTEEN times before, including a 2022 stabbing arrest at the SAME INTERSECTION.
Was he convicted? Were charges dismissed? Was there a plea? Was he released? What happened after each arrest?
Because β13 prior arrestsβ should not be something New Yorkers discover only AFTER another man is lying de*d in the street.

It is with great sadness that the El Dorado County Sheriffβs Office announces the passing of our beloved retired K9 Bak. Bak retired from service in 2020 following the promotion of his partner, Sgt. Hamon. In April of 2025, K9 Bak was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphatic cancer. Through the communityβs amazing support, Bak underwent 6-months of IV chemotherapy, extending his life and allowing him to enjoy many more walks and escapades at the baseball fields. Bak passed away peacefully at his home on August 27th, 2026.
