NEW: A Northern California school bus ride took a chaotic turn after students became rowdy, prompting the driver to stop the bus. A 12-year-old on board says a student then jumped out a window, and the driver told the others to stay seated and wait for law enforcement.
Parents say students remained on the stopped bus for about an hour as some arrived to get their children. Video later shows a parent climbing through a window and confronting the driver. Deputies say that parent was ultimately taken into custody for vandalism.

AGAIN AND AGAIN. Prosecutors WARNED THE JUDGE he was a danger and a flight risk. She released him on an ankle monitor anyway, and now he's at large.
Chicago prosecutors accuse 27-year-old Marshun Kimber of standing at a CTA bus stop with what appeared to be a Molotov cocktail while trying to spark a lighter.
At his July 30 detention hearing, prosecutors specifically argued that Kimber posed a threat to public safety AND could be a flight risk.
Judge Kelly McCarthy released him on electronic monitoring. Of course, within days, prosecutors alleged he violated those conditions. Then Kimber failed to appear in court.
THREE different judges have since issued arrest warrants, according to court records reviewed by CWB Chicago, and Kimber remains at large.
This is almost exactly the scenario prosecutors warned about before he was released.
We need to replace these weak, soft judges who continue to put our communities at risk.

BREAKING: DHS confirms to FoxNews that 3 of the 9 men arrested by police sanctuary Fairfax County, VA in a child sex sting operation are illegal aliens with lengthy criminal histories, including sodomy and solicitation of prostitution of minors, who were caught & released at the border by the Obama administration. Officer Austin Zade Abdelnabi was laid to rest Saturday in Greer, South Carolina, surrounded by family, friends, fellow Marines, law enforcement officers, and a community that came together to honor his life and sacrifice.
The support shown to the Abdelnabi family and the LVMPD family throughout this difficult journey has been extraordinary. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina Troopers Association Caisson Unit, the many law enforcement agencies, organizations, businesses, and South Carolina community partners who helped make Officer Abdelnabi’s funeral possible.
Members of the LVMPD Honor Guard also traveled to South Carolina to stand alongside Officer Abdelnabi’s family and assist in honoring our fallen brother.
To everyone who donated, volunteered, stood along the procession route, offered prayers, or simply showed up, thank you. Your kindness and support will never be forgotten.

A Knox County Maine Sheriff’s deputy was seriously injured while attempting to arrest a wanted individual in Friendship, according to the Pen Bay Pilot.
It happened Wednesday afternoon during an ongoing investigation involving the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA), and the Maine State Police, according to a news release from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say a physical altercation occurred between the deputy and person he was trying to arrest resulting in serious injuries to the deputy.
His name was not released. He was in stable condition at last report.

The crash happened Main Street in Cornelius. It involved several other vehicles and a tree appears to have crashed down onto that sheriff’s cruiser.

Florida's Operation Statewide Shield brought state, local and federal agencies together with one mission: find missing children and get them safe.
They recovered 163 children ranging from just 2 months old to 17. Three men have been arrested so far.
Authorities say many had experienced abuse, neglect, exploitation or exposure to criminal activity. Three felony cases have already been generated from the operation, with additional investigations continuing.
That is 163 children who were missing and are missing no longer because investigators, officers, agents, child advocates and partner organizations kept looking.
