I visited Lorena Pharmacy to hear directly from the community about the rising crime in the area. The people of Los Angeles County deserve to feel safe, and we need more law enforcement resources and a stronger presence in our communitiesβnot fewer. Itβs time to prioritize public safety and support the men and women who protect our neighborhoods.

An update filled with excitement, joy, blessings, love and thankfulness.
Late last month, Deputy Samuelsonβs medical team determined the cervical collar Jon had worn continuously since May 22 was no longer necessary. The removal of the brace has brought Jon a tremendous amount of relief and represented yet another accomplishment in his healing process.
Near the beginning of this month, Deputy Samuelson transitioned from inpatient to outpatient rehabilitation. He has since returned to inpatient status at the same rehabilitation facility in Illinois. The return to inpatient status was related to equipment issues. Jon, Quinn and his medical team felt returning to inpatient rehabilitation was necessary at this point. This move allows Jon to continue working with the same staff he has become familiar with over the past couple of months, while also providing additional benefits as he continues his rehabilitation.
And very recently, there have been some incredibly positive and exciting developments.
Subtle sensation is returning to Jonβs thighs. Additionally, Jon is describing sensation in his buttocks and lower back.
Jonβs upper torso balance and strength have also greatly improved. He is able to sit upright more freely and comfortably, and has even been completing sets of modified push-ups from a seated position on a mat.
And last, but certainly not least, early last week Jon began to move his big right toe on command.
Truly remarkable!
These may seem like small movements to some, but to Jon, Quinn, and everyone who has been following his journey, they are HUGE milestones.
Late last week, a very special delivery was made to Jon and Quinn.
The coupleβs now service-certified, two-year-old chocolate Labrador, Mable, was reunited with them. It marked the first time Jon, Quinn and Mable had all been together since May 22.
Quinn described the reunion as βamazing!β
As the old saying goes, βJust what the doctor ordered.β
In the days and weeks ahead, Jon will continue to fight and battle every obstacle that comes before him. He and Quinn remain incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support they have received through messages, cards, donations, and prayers.
The journey continues. And with each milestone, there is another reason to celebrate.

This is:
California Attorney General Rob Bonta, the husband of Mia Bonta, who authored the βStop Nick Shirley Act.β
π¨π¨ EXPLOSIVE BOMBSHELL BLACKMAIL VIDEO OF CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY GENERAL ROB BONTA
Newly uncovered documents reveal that California Attorney General Rob Bonta was aware that one of his major donors was involved in serious criminal activity, including prostitution rings targeting elected officials, including minors; money laundering; illegal political donations; contract fraud; and the manipulation of straw donors.
A letter obtained by ABC7 reveals that defendant Andy Duong, in the corruption case tied to former Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao, secretly recorded a compromising video of Bonta. This may also explain why the Attorney General spent $468,000 in campaign funds on legal fees connected to FBI investigations.
In a May 9, 2024, letter to Bonta, Mario Juarez described his knowledge of alleged criminal activities by Oakland-based California Waste Solutions and its owners, the Duongs.
βI have firsthand knowledge of the Duong familyβs illegal activities, including money laundering, illegal political contributions, falsified contracts, and the use of straw donors. Their actions also involved facilitating prostitution for elected officials, including minors.β
Bonta βwas far more aware of the Duongsβ activities than anyone suspected,β said Steve Tavares of East Bay Insider.
βIt is interesting that this letter came out, gosh, more than a year ago now, and some of its allegations seem to have been proven sufficiently correct so that the feds are willing to take action on some of them,β said federal prosecutor Wilson Leung.
Now, who are the Duongs?
Former Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao was criminally indicted by a grand jury on corruption charges, including bribery, racketeering, and perjury.
In 2024, Thao became the first mayor in Oaklandβs history to be recalled, following a surge in crime, murder, and homelessness.
This is just one of the indictments.
According to the indictment, Thao agreed to give city contracts and appointments to local businessmen David and Andy Duong. In return, the Duongs paid for $75,000 in attack ads against Thaoβs opponents during her mayoral election and paid another $95,000 to Andre Jones for a no-show job, with promises of more, all intended to benefit Thao and Jones personally.
Who is Andre Jones? The mayorβs f**k partner.
π This scandal surfaced when political watchdog Raphael Rothschild filed a formal complaint with the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC), accusing Bonta of violating the Political Reform Act by spending nearly half a million dollars in campaign funds on what he claims was personal legal protection.
No one spends nearly half a million dollars on lawyersβlet alone an Attorney Generalβunless itβs really bad. I mean, really bad. Iβm talking Epstein-bad.
