βBut this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.β

HERO ALERT: AND THIS WASN'T EVEN HIS FIRST RESCUE! We already knew Chick-fil-A employee Thomas βMykelβ Gordon made headlines when he tackled an alleged carjacker to protect a mother and her baby.
Gordon was working at a Chick-fil-A in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, in 2022 when deputies say a man grabbed a mother's car keys and climbed into her vehicle.
Gordon heard her screaming, ran outside, pulled the suspect from the car and wrestled him to the ground. Even after allegedly being punched in the face, Gordon held on until help arrived.
Incredibly, four years earlier, the then-26-year-old Gordon had reportedly ALSO helped rescue two girls after a construction crane fell onto their car near his workplace.
Most people go their entire lives without being forced to find out how they would react when a stranger is suddenly in danger.
Mykel Gordon got that test TWICE, and both times he ran toward the people who needed help.
Make THIS kind of man famous.

You asked for results, we made the changes necessary for this FBI to deliver- one example, DNA:
We are statutorily required under the βDNA Fingerprint Act of 2005β to receive and process collected DNA samples from federally convicted offenders, arrestees, and non-U.S. citizen detainees.
These samples are required to be sent to the FBI Laboratory Division (LD) for processing β we get around 50k a month. This literally solves crimes across the country, like unsolved homicides, mass shootings, sexual assaults, and other violent offenses.
There had been a massive backlog at the FBI Lab for decades. On August 1, 2024, the pending DNA backlog for these samples was over 1.81 million, literally breaking federal statutory requirements. A typical example of institutionalized bureaucracy from prior leadership that left crimes across America unsolved.
When we got here, we changed it. This FBI dedicated more resources, more equipment, improved IT systems, and used business analytics for DNA processing.
TODAY - that DNA backlog is officially at ZERO.
Just more evidence of the monumental and necessary changes made by this FBI. Thank you, FBI Lab Division.

WATCH LIVE: Vice President JD Vance delivers remarks at Maine defense manufacturer
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1LdaGCGnpW/
SBA_Kelly in Maine: "A Main Street comeback is unfolding across this great country β because for the last year, the Trump Administration and congressional Republicans in Congress has been laser focused on one thing: putting American workers, families, and small businesses first."
VP on Senator Collins: "She is coming to work every single day and fighting not for a political party or not for any abstraction, she comes to work every single day and she fights for the great people of Maine."
VP: "The Trump Administration enacted the single biggest tax cut in history for Maine's workers. We brought down drug costs β TrumpRx β and ensured that our nation's housing supply goes to citizens, not to private equity investors. We provided historic tax relief for Maine parents and families. We have invested a thousand dollars in every new baby born in the United States of America thanks to Trump Accounts."
VP: "The way to defeat socialism β it's not to throw slogans at people, it's not politician-talk and repeating the same old thing, it's giving people a real stake in the future."
VP: "For 40 years, places like Brewer have been told that it doesn't matter, that it doesn't matter if we make things here in Maine or 5,000 miles away with foreign workers... Just as it was a policy choice by people in Washington to let that happen to you and your community, in 2024, Brewer made a new choice to reverse 40 years of American decline and send Donald J. Trump back to the White House."
VP: In just 18 months, we have seen an industrial renaissance all across the United States. Factory construction employment has exploded. Trillions of dollars are pouring into our country. Orders for new capital goods are breaking records.
VP in Maine: "We want good jobs. We want dignity. We want the dignity of knowing that if you work hard and you build something, if you play by the rules, your country is going to have your back... A welfare check is never going to replace a job."
VP on trade with Canada: "I think that we need to send a message loud and clear to the Prime Minister of Canada: Stop taking advantage of the people of Maine. Stop taking advantage of America. It's over β we expect fairness in our trade policy."

Think about the last time you called 911 and had to wonder if anyone was coming.
That wait is new. It didn't used to be like that here. When I was Sheriff, response times were counted in seconds, the department was fully staffed, and we didn't have street takeovers shutting down intersections or looting on the news every week. When encampments took over Venice, we went and did something about it.
None of that was a miracle. It was a staffed department and a Sheriff willing to use it.
You deserve that back. Fully staffed, fast to your door, on your side. So when you call, we're there.
Help is on the way. Join me.

When we took over, the FBI Laboratory faced a DNA-processing backlog of more than 1.81 MILLION samples.
Today: ZERO.
πΊ 1.81M+ samples processed
πΊ Backlog had been growing by roughly 75,000 samples per month
πΊ Hundreds of thousands of samples were arriving each year
πΊ Profiles can help solve homicides, sexual assaults, mass shootings, and other violent crimes
πΊ Equipment upgraded
πΊ Resources redirected
πΊ Technology improved
πΊ Bureaucratic barriers removed
DNA profiles belong in CODIS helping law enforcement solve crimesβnot stalled in a government backlog.
Under President Trumpβs leadership, we are rebuilding the FBI around one standard: MISSION FIRST.
