WATCH: AG Todd Blanche joined SatAmericaFNC this morning and discussed the alleged ISIS-inspired terror plot targeting the New York State Capitol: "This is a good reminder to Americans how we have to remain vigilant. The Department of Justice, federal law enforcement did a fantastic job disrupting what could have been a horrible tragedy and another act of terrorism on American soil."

HARLEY FIRE MORNING UPDATE: The Harley Fire in Box Elder County Utah has burned 199 acres and is now 25% contained.

The Harley Drive area remains under a Level 3 β€œEvacuate Now” notice, and residents are being told not to return home. The Radio Hill area is under a Level 1 β€œReady” evacuation status.

Firefighters will patrol the perimeter Saturday, mop up hot spots and monitor the fire. Power remains out along Harley Drive as repairs continue.

Officials say no primary structures have been lost.

The fire is human-caused, and the cause remains under investigation.

Officials are also asking people to stay out of the Radio Hill area and not stop along nearby roads or the freeway to watch or take pictures because it can interfere with firefighting operations.

An LAPD officer was originally charged with 16 felony counts involving alleged illegal recordings of confidential communications. Now, the case has taken a dramatic turn.

The felony charges have reportedly been reduced to misdemeanors, with the possibility of diversion now on the table.

So what changed?

Retired LAPD Assistant Chief Al Labrada joins investigative reporter Cece Woods to examine the case, the original allegations and the circumstances surrounding the sudden reduction in charges.

We also look at the involvement of high-powered attorney Alan Jackson, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and the larger questions surrounding how this case has been handled.

Was the officer exposing wrongdoing as a whistleblower? Was there another motive behind the recordings? And why did a case that began with 16 felony charges potentially end up on a path toward misdemeanor charges and diversion?

What happened behind the scenesβ€”and who pushed for the change?

The Current Report takes a closer look at the timeline, the players and the questions that remain unanswered.

Washington, D.C.  First IndyCar race ever around the National Mall, the Freedom 250, two days for America's 250th.

They are on a 1.7-mile, seven-turn street circuit, 147 laps and 250 miles.  Qualifying for pole is at 5 p.m. on FS2.

Trump signed the January 30 executive order that put this on Constitution Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, and he is expected Sunday.  About 200,000 people are supposed to show up.  IROC is back this afternoon with heats at 3 and 4.

Watch that pit lane on Pennsylvania Avenue between Turns 1 and 2.  There are no pit passes because there is no room, and that stop is already the tricky part.

YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T RUN FOREVER: One of Massachusetts State Police's most wanted fugitives is back in custody after SIX YEARS on the run.

Jude Demeis, 55, was indicted in 2019 on charges involving child s*xual abuse material and allegedly fled before police could execute the warrant.

Investigators kept looking, and the FBI eventually tracked him to Ecuador, where local authorities arrested him. The U.S. Marshals then brought him back to Massachusetts to face the charges.

HATS OFF to the FBI, Massachusetts State Police, U.S. Marshals and Ecuadorian authorities for refusing to let this case disappear simply because the suspect disappeared.

A woman is seen floating down the Los Angeles River

Even touching LA River water is insane. This water is beyond disgusting

The LA River isn’t really a river, it’s a giant storm drain for the city’s runoff like feces and urine from the homeless, needles, drug paraphernalia, endless amounts of trash, pesticides, herbicides, animal waste and so much more

The river routinely exceeds standards for bacteria like E. coli and others from pet waste and human sources

If you stand on the edge and watch the water you will see nothing but trash floating by, it’s absolutely disgusting and it runs straight into the ocean

BREAKING: Chaotic scene in Minneapolis as Jake Lang rides in the bed of a pickup truck outside city hall Brendan Gutenschwager
BREAKING: Minneapolis police say that Jake Lang and all occupants of vehicles have been arrested on "probable cause riot":

"At approximately 11:50 a.m., far-right extremist Jake Lang arrived near Minneapolis City Hall with other people in two vehicles. Both vehicles drove onto the sidewalk in front of City Hall toward a crowd of people gathered there. MPD officers moved in to get the vehicles off the sidewalk and out of the area.

Officers tracked both vehicles after they left. With the assistance of MN State Patrol, one was stopped near Washington Avenue and I-35W. The second was stopped by Bloomington PD near Lindau Lane and IKEA Way in Bloomington.

All occupants, including Jake Lang, were arrested on Probable Cause Riot. Both vehicles were impounded.

Additional arrests occurred near City Hall.

”SLAP ON THE WRIST” A Philippine national charged with filming a 3-year-old girl in the bathroom will likely serve no time in jail for that crime thanks to a plea deal Alexandria VA Commonwealth’s Attorney Bryan Porter gave the defendant.

However, the man will serve up to 6 months in jail for filming the girl’s mom.  The mother told me they found the man’s phone in a bathroom vanity at an Alexandria bakery, that it had been recording 19 people using the bathroomβ€”-and they had no idea they were being filmed.

The man originally faced more than 20 years behind bars.  But is getting up to six months instead.
