THIS IS BEYOND SICK: A South Carolina teacher is accused of sending s*xually explicit messages to a student 13 OR YOUNGER while allegedly trying to persuade the child to engage in a s*xual act.
Megan Lawrimore Bolt, 45, was arrested and charged with criminal solicitation of a minor.
Investigators say the alleged messages stretched from April 1 through August 5.
She wasn't even caught by the school: a PARENT brought it to the school districtβs attention.
Florence One Schools says it took immediate action and reported the matter to law enforcement. Bolt is no longer employed there.
That is not enough. Make an example of this case.

West Branch Post troopers and a Department of Natural Resources conservation officer were called to help locate a missing fisherman on Tawas Lake Thursday, Aug. 20, around 9:45 p.m.
The caller reported her 83-year-old husband went out fishing in his aluminum boat about 6 p.m. and had not returned. He did not have his hearing aids, cell phone, flashlight, or other emergency equipment and his boat was not equipped with lights.
Due to the shallow water and extensive tall wild rice throughout the lake, the DNR conservation officer utilized a shallow-water mud boat personally owned and provided by an off-duty Oscoda Township police officer who was not on scene. Troopers joined the conservation officer aboard the boat and began searching the lake in complete darkness.
At about 11:40 p.m. the fisherman was located on the north side of the lake stuck in the tall wild rice. The search team located him after hearing his voice in the distance and observing the flame from his lighter. He was uninjured and safely brought to shore.
Great teamwork by everyone!

At around 6:30 pm on Wednesday evening, KPD officers received a 9-1-1 call that a one-month-old was reportedly unresponsive and not breathing. Officers Clayton McWilliams and Victoria Jackson responded to the scene immediately, raced to the child and quickly worked to clear the baby's airway.
Thankfully, those efforts proved successful, and the child began breathing normally within seconds of officer arrival.
We are grateful to Officer McWilliams and Jackson for their decisive actions and composure when it mattered most.
