Donations to Karen Bass are matched by LOS ANGELES TAX DOLLARS?
Yep. Los Angeles has a taxpayer-funded campaign program that matches qualifying contributions SIX-TO-ONE.
A qualifying $5 donation can become $35 for the campaign.
And Bass has already qualified for more than $675,000 in publicly funded matching money during the general election campaign.
Why should taxpayers be forced to kick in ANYTHING? This is insane!

DHS HITS BACK. DHS just called Michelle Wu βunhingedβ after she moved to track down private property owners who might lease parking to ICE.
The Boston mayor sent a letter urging parking lot and garage owners to REJECT ICE, and the city filed a FOIA request seeking the identities of anyone who responded to ICEβs request for 249 parking spaces.
Wu called the potential leases an βunprovoked and unwarranted escalationβ and told property owners: βReject any proposition by ICE to facilitate an attack on the people of Boston.β
DHS fired back HARD. βShe knows she has NO authority to block us from using private property,β the agency said, accusing Wu of βhunting down private property ownersβ rather than helping remove criminal illegal aliens.
This has gone way beyond political disagreement.
Should a mayor be using City Hall to identify and pressure private businesses because they may legally work with a federal law enforcement agency?

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deputy Rodney Rickman.
Deputy Rickman suffered a medical emergency on Saturday and, despite efforts to save his life, he passed away this morning.
Deputy Rickman, 56, served with the Franklin County Sheriffβs Office for the past two years. His connection to the Office began long before he became a deputy. For eight years, Rickman was a valued member of Franklin County Fleet Management, where he worked alongside and built relationships with many members of the Sheriffβs Office. He often spoke about his desire to serve, protect, and be a part of the brotherhood he had known through his military service.

In 2020, an FBI report stated China was shipping fake U.S. driverβs licenses to recipients described as Chinese students and immigrants (sympathizers of the Chinese Communist Party) already living in the U.S., who would then use the licenses to cast fraudulent mail-in votes .βββββββββββββββββββfor Joe Biden.
The report was intended to be shared with the 17 other intel agencies, but FBI leadership ordered the report to be destroyed, even though the FBI found these driverβs licenses entering via the Chicago O'Hare airport.
