NEW: A Kentucky trooper is being hailed as a hero for rescuing a family after a highway car crash.

A Kentucky State Police trooper is seen in a video rescuing a family trapped in their car after a crash on Interstate 65 in Elizabethtown on Friday.

Trooper Blaine Miller was in the area responding to an unrelated incident, according to KSP. When Miller arrived at the scene, the overturned car was beginning to catch fire. Miller broke the front windshield of the car, climbed inside, and helped bring all four people inside the car to safety.

Proud to be addressing over 200 of our Tribal law enforcement partners from around the country in Albuquerque, making a huge announcement โ€“ the FBIโ€™s new โ€œVoices Not Forgottenโ€ program โ€“ our initiative to take on unsolved investigations into homicides, kidnappings, and missing persons in Indian Country.

This is a brand-new protocol that is part of this FBIโ€™s record dedication of resources to Tribal partners who have been left behind for far too long. The new initiative is designed to raise public awareness, as well as create a minimum reward of up to $25,000 for all publicly advertised cases involving homicides, kidnappings, and missing persons in Indian Country โ€“ compelling any member of the public with information to come forward and help us bring justice. We are harnessing the same public awareness campaign that has made our Top Ten Most Wanted and Most Wanted Fraudster programs so tremendously successful โ€“ the public is one of our best resources.

Weโ€™re highlighting six unsolved cases initially โ€“ including Angel Beach, Saโ€™wade Birdinground, Maleeka โ€œMollieโ€ Boone, Logan Warrior Goings, Mary Johnson (Davis), and Emily Pike. We will continuously add to this list. If any member of the public has information โ€“ 1-800-CALL-FBI or tips.fbi.gov.

Thank you to our IC partners for their great work with this FBI โ€“ special thanks to Shawn Butler, IACP Vice Chair; Bill Denke, IACP Chair; and our Albuquerque law enforcement partners for hosting.

NEW: A New York man is accused of setting multiple Flock license plate reader cameras on fire and firing a rifle at a pursuing Page County deputy before surrendering to authorities.

E911 received a call around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 16 about a Flock camera on fire near the Page Co-Op in Luray, according to a release from the Page County Sheriffโ€™s Office. Along with Luray PD, deputies responded to find it alight before an additional call at 10:27 p.m. of another Flock camera on fire near Route 340 & Mechanic Street in Luray, a second report verified by authorities. Searching the area, they found a third Flock camera nearby had also been vandalized.

A deputy stationery near Route 211 and Dry Run Road observed a subject allegedly vandalizing the Flock camera near that intersection and attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver failed to stop, according to the release, until he did outside of Luray on Lyn-Mar Road.

A white male exited the driverโ€™s side and opened fire with a rifle on the deputy who was pursuing, discharging multiple rounds into the deputyโ€™s patrol car, according to the relese. The deputy was able to take cover and return fire, striking the suspect vehicle multiple times. The suspect re-entered his vehicle and fled the scene. The deputy was not injured, police said.

When the mission takes us beyond where vehicles can go, our agents find another way in. From the air to the ground, RGV Agents continue working in some of the most remote and challenging terrain along the border.

Where the mission calls, we go.

ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

Our Sixth Street Bridge in Los Angeles  no longer lights up at night and it is covered with graffiti.  Thieves  repeatedly steal the copper wiring and have left the bridge in the dark.

In May 2019, while I was Captain of LAPD Commercial Crimes Division, the Metal Theft Detail was disbanded under Chief Michel Moore, despite warnings from unit leadership about the consequences of eliminating this specialized investigative function.

The unit conducted recycling-center and pawn-shop inspections, investigated metal theft and fencing operations, and used specialized intelligence to identify stolen property and arrest suspects.
Today, Los Angeles is experiencing a dramatic escalation in copper and metal theft.

The warning was given. The unit was eliminated. The consequences are now being seen.

Leadership decisions matterโ€”and actions have consequences.

COWARDS: Mayor Zohran Mamdaniโ€™s administration skipped Tuesdayโ€™s City Council hearing rather than face the outrage over its decision to publish a database containing names and addresses tied to more than 900,000 properties that may be facing the cityโ€™s new unjust second-home tax.

City Hall sent warning letters to approximately 17,000 property owners, leaving thousands of New Yorkers scrambling to prove their homes should not be taxed as second residences.

Council members from BOTH parties demanded answers.

Mamdaniโ€™s administration sent written testimony instead, claiming that appearing in person would be unwise because of pending litigation.

City Hall found time to publish hundreds of thousands of homeownersโ€™ information, but couldnโ€™t find ONE OFFICIAL willing to walk into the hearing and defend the rollout?

This man has been terrorizing people and stores along Franklin Village. A few female employees have had to have male coworkers walk them to their car. Heโ€™s been roaming around Hollywood for years and gets pretty violent.

WATCH: President Donald J. Trump joins construction and military leaders in signing the bottom of the helipad's granite eagle:

"It's such an exciting project... They've wanted this for many, many years. The happiest people are the pilots... This will be here long after we're gone."

POTUS on the lawsuit against the East Wing Modernization Project: "The person has no standing... It's a lawsuit that should've never even been allowed to be brought, but hopefully we'll do very well with it... Hopefully the Supreme Court will agree."

POTUS shows off the new helipad under construction on the South Lawn: "Nice job, fellas!"

POTUS checks out the back piece of the granite eagle that will be placed on the helipad: "Look how fine that's cut... From the air, it looks so beautiful."

POTUS: "For the last number of years, no tents have been used because tents are very dangerous. Tents are made out of plastic or canvas and they don't stop even the smallest of ammunition of bullets... Ours will stop, you take AK-47s, the most powerful โ€” it laughs at it."

POTUS: "We've come to a deal with Canada... Very fair deal for both. The tariffs will be nonexistent for our farmers... It's good for everybody."
