A doorbell camera in Othello, Washington, captured a meteor fireball streaking across the sky early Friday.

The fireball was reported by hundreds of people across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia.

NEW: An officer was injured following a crash during a funeral procession for a fallen officer along a Henderson freeway Friday morning.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident was reported just before 10:30 a.m. along northbound I-11 before Sunset Road and involved two patrol vehicles. Multiple vehicles were on scene to assist with the funeral procession of Officer Austin Abdelnabi.

One officer was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for his recovery🙏🏻

Please, praying for the Muscatine Iowa police officer who was shot in the line of duty this evening.🙏🏻

DEVELOPING: A suspect is at large after an officer was shot in Muscatine. Residents on the south end of town are asked to shelter in place and lock their doors.

According to Muscatine Police Chief Anthony Kies, what started as a vehicle pursuit turned into a foot pursuit around 5:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of Grandview Avenue on Friday, Aug. 14. During the pursuit, gunfire was exchanged, and an officer was struck. Kies said the officer is in stable condition.

Police identified the suspect accused of shooting the officer as Mark Lee Jackson. He is still at large as of 8:30 p.m. on Friday night.
Community members around the south end of Muscatine are asked to lock their doors and shelter in place.

Shortly before 7 p.m., Muscatine Mayor Brad Bark posted on Facebook sharing his prayers for officers in the community.

BREAKING: DFW has SCRAPPED its plan to pay for new Islamic wudu washing stations after Gov. Greg Abbott ordered a review of its state grants and referred the airport to the U.S. Department of Transportation.

News reports initially claimed the $300,000 project would be privately funded, but yesterday DFW corrected the record and said that was not the case. The airport ITSELF would have covered the estimated cost using airport revenue.

Abbott immediately intervened, declaring, “Government-owned airports cannot favor one religion over all others.”

He called the proposed facilities illegal religious discrimination and put DFW’s state funding under review.

Late last night, DFW spokesman Heath Montgomery said the airport had accelerated its review and “determined not to proceed with the project.”

We need MORE of this and more men like Governor Abbott in office.
