UNBELIEVABLE: Tyler Robinson’s attorneys say the shooter should escape the de*th penalty because he “hit the intended target.”

Robinson is accused of taking Charlie Kirk’s life with a rifle shot.

His defense team wants a judge to remove the only aggravating factor currently making him eligible for capital punishment. They argue that because the shooter fired once, struck his intended target and did not harm anyone else, prosecutors cannot prove he knowingly endangered additional lives.

The filing does not concede that Robinson was the shooter...but this argument certainly SEEMS like an admission of some kind.

It is absolutely INSANE that the shooter’s accuracy could help spare him from the ultimate sentence.

Should “he hit the intended target” EVER be accepted as an argument against capital punishment in an alleged political assassination?

BREAKING: FBI Boston has arrested the Mayor of Lawrence, MA, for allegedly fraudulently obtaining over $1.5 million in COVID and SBA loans and using the proceeds to fund his campaign, pay his personal taxes, and pay off a high interest mortgage.

Leah Foley, US Attorney for MA, issued the following statement:

"Mayor DePeña was elected to be a leader for the City of Lawrence. He was looked up to and trusted by his constituents, but he betrayed that trust through his alleged corruption and lies.

Today's arrest is just another example of our determination to root out fraud by anyone, even public officials and holding elected officials accountable."

Mayor DePena has gone viral on social media in the past for his inability to speak English and for using a translator during public meetings.

Watts is serving five life sentences without parole after brutally m*rdering his wife, Shanann, and their daughters, 4-year-old Bella and 3-year-old Celeste, and taking the life of his unborn son, Nico.

Now he has reportedly applied to marry 39-year-old Lizzie Henderson, an Ohio realtor who moved to Wisconsin to be closer to Dodge Correctional Institution.

Published reports say Henderson visited Watts 23 times over approximately 15 months, participated in CONTACT VISITS lasting up to three hours and has applied to change her last name to Watts.

Watts will never leave prison, but he can still receive love letters, spend hours with admirers, have physical contact with his girlfriend during visits and potentially enter a new marriage.

This man is a monster who deserves the de*th penalty, not romance behind bars.

The New York City Department of Correction is mourning the loss of Captain Keisha Nicks, a 22-year veteran who died yesterday in the line of duty after suffering a medical emergency.

Captain Nicks was one of the leading heroes of our Correction Assistance Response for Employees (C.A.R.E.) Unit and a beloved member of The Boldest Family.

For more than two decades, her leadership, hard work, selflessness and kindness has shined with distinction throughout our entire Department. She will forever be remembered as a true public servant and bold champion for the wellness of others.

“The hearts of The Boldest are broken with the loss of our beloved Captain Keisha Nicks. She most recently served in the Correction Assistance Response for Employees (C.A.R.E.) Unit, where she promoted staff wellness and provided support to her colleagues, both uniformed and non-uniformed,” said Commissioner Stanley Richards. “As a leader at C.A.R.E., Captain Nicks worked to address the needs of staff in both their personal and professional lives. When staff suffered injuries on the job, she was there. If they struggled with trauma, she was the rock they could lean on. It was a role she was well-suited for, having been a reliable officer, friend and steadfast member of The Boldest Family from her first day on the job. We mourn her loss. We honor her service and legacy. And we miss her greatly.”

NEW: Five people were killed in a Michigan shooting spree on Friday, sparking a massive manhunt that ended when the suspected gunman was found dead.

The bloodshed was first discovered at a home in Missaukee County, where police found three dead people shortly before noon, Up North Live reported, citing state police.

Two more slain victims were later found – one in the woods near Whitlock Lake and another in a separate home, according to the report.
Another person was left in critical condition.

The carnage prompted a frantic search for the 39-year-old suspect, Chad Hickman, who police said was considered armed and dangerous.

Hickman was eventually found dead, though it wasn’t immediately clear how he died.

“Not only is this difficult for our investigators and our troopers, but it’s very hard for this community. You know, this type of loss is tragic,” a Michigan State Police spokesperson told Up North Live in a statement.

UPDATE: Major Photo Incident Involves Two Officers Shot and an Officer-Injured Photo Incident

INCIDENT LOCATION: 300 block of N Fleming Street

On August 14, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers with the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team and detectives went to the 300 block of N Fleming Street to serve a search warrant related to a narcotics investigation. As SWAT officers exited their armored vehicles, they were almost immediately met with gunfire. Two IMPD officers sustained gunshot wounds. Several IMPD SWAT officers discharged their service weapons.

Officers rendered immediate medical aid to both injured officers, and they were transported to an area hospital by fellow officers. Both officers are in stable condition at this time.

The adult male suspect continued to fire shots for an extended period of time and barricaded himself inside the home. IMPD crisis negotiators began speaking to the suspect. The suspect eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident. It was determined he had injuries consistent with a gunshot wound(s), and he was transported by medics to an area hospital in stable condition.

Multiple firearms were located at the scene. An IMPD van and an armored vehicle were damaged by gunshots. Photos can be viewed on IMPD News.

The officers involved were equipped with body-worn cameras.

The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to collect potential forensic evidence. The Marion County Prosecutor's Office also responded to assist in the investigation.

BREAKING: Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport has scrapped a controversial plan to add an Islamic footwashing station. DFW made the decision late Friday after Gov. Greg Abbott demanded a review:

"Government-owned airports cannot favor one religion over all others.

DFW plans to install Islamic wudu washing facilities are illegal. I've directed a review of all state grants to both airports for possible revocation, and referred DFW & IAH to USDOT for investigation.

Texas will not allow illegal religious discrimination at taxpayer-funded facilities."

THIS IS THE LEFT: Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is dragging gun-control politics directly into the process used to equip police officers.

His new executive order gives city officials 90 days to develop additional standards for purchasing firearms, ammunition and related equipment for city departments. This includes the Chicago Police Department.

Bureaucrats can now scrutinize vendors based on their business practices, regulatory inspection histories and whether firearms they previously sold were later recovered during criminal investigations. A firearm could be lawfully sold, stolen or illegally transferred years later, and the original vendor could still face scrutiny because a
criminal eventually got his hands on it.

Police officers do not get a second chance when their equipment fails. Their firearms and ammunition should be selected by experienced professionals based on reliability, performance and officer safety. NOT an activist-approved political test from City Hall. Police officers are not political props.
