Following an FBI investigation with our DOJ partners: today we are announcing a superseding indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Centerβs Director of Intelligence, Heidi Beirich.
As alleged, Heidi Beirich was at the center of our ongoing investigation into SPLC and their previously alleged criminal activity - where SPLC knowingly misled donors, who believed their money was being used to dismantle violent extremist organizations - when in fact, part of those donations were instead being used to pay senior leadership within those extremist groups.
According to the indictment and our investigation, Beirich played a primary role in this scheme. From at least 2007-2023, Beirich allegedly helped orchestrate this fraudulent activity worth approximately $4.2 million, conspiring with SPLC to defraud donors, obtaining money through these materially false and fraudulent pretenses and omissions to pay leadership of the very violent organizations SPLC claimed to oppose.
Beirich was arrested today - charged with crimes including wire fraud conspiracy, conspiracy to submit false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering.
This is an ongoing investigation. This FBI will find anyone who exploits the trust of the American people and our financial system.

ABSOLUTELY SENSELESS: A father allegedly lost his life over an argument about a DRINK.
Police say 56-year-old Fredrick Lytton and 23-year-old Devin Rice were working at a West Nashville U-Haul when a verbal dispute broke out over a drink.
Investigators say Rice pulled out a pistol, fired multiple rounds at Lytton and fled the business.
Officers found the 56-year-old father suffering from multiple gunshot wounds shortly after 5 p.m. He was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center but did not survive.
Police arrested Rice the next day.
Investigators say he admitted arguing with Lytton before opening fire. He is now charged with criminal homicide.
Over a DRINK.
A man went to work and never returned home because another adult allegedly lacked the self-control to walk away from a petty argument.
This kind of senseless violence is becoming horrifyingly common.
What is happening to our country?

Serving as the White House Press Secretary over the past year and a half has been the honor and adventure of a lifetime. I am incredibly grateful to President Trump for granting me so many extraordinary opportunities, such as working in the West Wing and spending countless hours in the Oval Office, flying around the world and meeting foreign leaders, and traveling across our beautiful country and meeting Americans from all walks of life.
Most of all, I am thankful to the President for entrusting me with the distinct privilege of speaking on his behalf at the White House podium. I have spoken with great pride about the many historic accomplishments of this Administration, and I have relished holding the liberal media accountable and ensuring the American people hear the truth about President Trumpβs successes.
Being a mother and welcoming a new baby while working in one of the most demanding jobs in the world has been the most rewarding yet challenging season of my life, to say the least. The truth is since returning to the White House after the birth of my daughter, I have felt in my heart that I cannot be the best mom my two young children deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House Press Secretary β and that is why I have ultimately made the bittersweet decision to depart the White House and embark on a new chapter in my life.
President Trump has asked me to continue serving as a top advisor to him on the outside, and I will always remain a vocal advocate for MAGA and the Republican Party.
Our country is facing an existential threat from an increasingly extremist Democrat Party that seeks to destroy everything great about America, and I believe it is incumbent upon all of us who care about this country to fight back against that threat. My fight is entering a new phase, but it is far from over.
Thank you again to the President, the First Lady, and the entire Trump family for your kindness and generosity over the years. Thank you to our amazing Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for empowering me since the day she hired me on the campaign, and to the Presidentβs cabinet, my staff, colleagues, and friends at the White House who work so hard on behalf of our nation. It has been a privilege to serve alongside so many accomplished and impressive people, and I look forward to cheering them on over the next two and a half years.
And of course, thank you most especially to my loving and supportive husband and family for the sacrifices they made for me to serve in this role. β₯οΈπΊπΈ

Sheriff Eugene Brantley and the Richmond County Sheriffβs Office are mourning the loss of one of our own, K9 Roy, who passed away following an unforeseen medical issue.
K9 Roy proudly served the citizens of Richmond County alongside his handler, Deputy Joseph Hawkins. Throughout his career, Roy played an important role in keeping our community safe, assisting in the seizure of significant amounts of illegal drugs and currency and helping track some of the most dangerous individuals in our community.
He was a loyal partner, a protector, and a beloved member of the Hawkins family.
K9 Roy served with courage, loyalty, and dedication. His service to Richmond County will not be forgotten.
Rest easy, Roy.

βI just donβt know why this had to happen to meβ - said the DRUNK DRIVER who killed a bride leaving her wedding reception.
Her fatherβs response: βBecause bad things happen to good people, honey.β
EXCUSE ME?
Jamie Komoroski got drunk, drove 65 mph in a 25 mph zone and crashed into newlyweds leaving their wedding reception.
Bride Samantha Miller lost her life. Her husband and two relatives were injured.
Komoroskiβs blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.261 percent, more than THREE TIMES the legal limit.
Something bad did not simply βhappenβ to Jamie Komoroski.
She drank.
She got behind the wheel.
She drove 40 mph over the speed limit.
Then her choices destroyed a family on what should have been one of the happiest nights of their lives. But instead of telling his adult daughter the painful truth, her father reassured her that she was a GOOD person victimized by bad luck.
This was not bad luck, or fate.
It was the devastating consequence of her own reckless choices.
Komoroski eventually pleaded guilty and received a 25-year prison sentence.
When parents teach their children that consequences are merely bad things happening to them, this is the kind of entitlement they create.

MEN DO NOT BELONG WHERE WOMEN NEED PRIVACY! A women-only spa is officially asking the Supreme Court to protect the privacy of women and teenage girls.
Olympus Spa, a traditional Korean bathhouse in Washington state, has filed a petition asking the Supreme Court to hear its years-long legal battle over its women-only admission policy. Women and girls as young as 13 are required to be completely unclothed in portions of the facility.
The dispute began after a man who claims to be transgender filed a discrimination complaint over the spaβs policy limiting entry to biological women. The Washington State Human Rights Commission pressured the owners to remove their βbiological womenβ policy and affirm access regardless of gender identity.
Women and teenage girls enter this spa expecting that they will only be required to undress around other biological females. The state of Washington decided that protecting that boundary amounts to discrimination.
Olympus Spaβs Christian owners fought back, arguing that the government violated their rights to free speech, religious exercise and association. A divided Ninth Circuit rejected their case, so the owners are now asking the highest court in the country to step in.
Recognizing biological reality is not discrimination. No woman or teenage girl should be forced to expose her naked body in front of a biological male, or have to see male genitalia in a woman's space, because the government decided someone elseβs validation matters more than her dignity.
