Video shows the suspect kill 3 people and injured 7 before being confronted by an off-duty officer and armed civilians.

The suspect then died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police say he acted alone.

NEW: An Austin County Texas Sheriff’s deputy who was run over during a traffic stop earlier this year is now recovering at home, though her road to full recovery remains long.

Deputy Alyssa Lopez continues to have weekly doctor visits and is scheduled for surgery in the near future. She was seriously hurt on April 24, 2026, when she was run over by a driver fleeing a traffic stop.

Deputy Lopez has served in law enforcement for over six years and was commissioned with the Austin County Sheriff’s Office in January 2026, just months before the life-altering incident.

EXCLUSIVE: Former NBA first-round pick Royce White says he's declaring for the 2027 WNBA Draft, claiming he now identifies as transgender for the purpose of playing professional basketball.

The 6-foot-8 former Houston Rockets draft pick follows fellow former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom, who announced his own plans to declare amid the growing debate over transgender athletes in women's sports.

White told Fox News Digital he believes he'd be "unstoppable" in the WNBA and suggested he could pursue legal action if denied an opportunity to play.

White said the move is meant to challenge the WNBA to clearly define its eligibility rules for transgender athletes, saying: "I'd like to know what the parameters are."

This afternoon, a man got into an altercation inside a Holiday Oil near 12600 South & 4185 West in Riverton, Utah.

Things escalated. He walked out, got into his vehicle and drove around the parking lot.

Then, according to investigators, he grabbed a SHOTGUN and went back inside.

Waiting for him were two armed civilians.

The two civilians then opened fire on the suspect, who was shot, stumbled out into the parking lot, and was pronounced deceased.

Sometimes the worst decisions come with the fastest consequences.

NEW: COMMUNITY ACTIVIST KILLED IN HYDE PARK SHOOTING

A 51-year-old community activist was fatally shot Thursday afternoon near 59th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The victim was identified as Reginald Foreman, a gang-intervention activist with 2nd Call, a group that works with high-risk individuals to help prevent violence in the community.

Witnesses reported
seeing a suspect fleeing the area. The suspect
was described as a male approximately 18–20 years old wearing a ski mask. No arrests have been made, and a motive remains unclear.

Flowers and candles have been placed at the scene as the community mourns Foreman, who was
remembered for his efforts to prevent violence and help people in the South Los Angeles community.

This shooting comes just weeks after another community activist, Eric Washington, was killed in a separate shooting in Compton.

AZDPS is proud to announce the promotion of Jennifer Borquez to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and her appointment as Assistant Director of the Agency Support Division. She is the third woman in Department history to attain this rank.

Since joining AZDPS as a Cadet State Trooper in 2002, Lt. Col. Borquez has served in leadership positions throughout the Highway Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Technical Services, and Agency Support divisions. She also served as Director of the Arizona Counter Terrorism Information Center.

As Assistant Director, Lt. Col. Borquez will lead the critical administrative and operational support functions that help AZDPS personnel serve communities throughout Arizona.
