WATCH LIVE: President Donald J. Trump Signs an Executive Order.
The executive order establishes the President's Military Spouse Commission to better assist military spouses and will be chaired by Jennifer Hegseth, the wife of War Secretary Pete Hegseth.
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/19EEyHEvaQ/
POTUS: "Thank you for all being here as we take a major new step to support our incredible military families... Today, I'm signing an Executive Order to establish the first-ever Presidential Military Spouse Commission." ๐บ๐ธ
POTUS: "America cannot have the strongest military in the world without the love and devotion of our remarkable military spouses who make the extraordinary sacrifices for our country... this Commission will provide recommendations for improving the quality of life for military spouses so that we can better support both our military families and the entire United States armed forces."
POTUS: "Every day, our administration is fighting to give our military families the support they dearly need and they deserve. As part of the Great Big Beautiful Bill, we provided hundreds of millions of dollars for military childcare and improved housing on military bases... Last Christmas, every service member received a Warrior Dividend of $1,776... the Commission will help ensure we continue to give military spouses our very best, so our military can continue to be the strongest military anywhere in the world."
Gen. Dan Caine: "You think we're strong? American military spouses are ten times stronger." ๐บ๐ธ
Jennifer Hegseth, Chair of the Presidential Military Spouse Commission: "We have the most amazing women here who have decades of experience... between what they've experienced and what they know, weโre going to really tackle these things... Itโs housing, itโs healthcare, itโs employment, it's childcare, it's education, and so weโre going to take a look at all those things... So this is a big deal today."
SecWar: "Strong families equal strong formations... and if your familyโs not taken care of that, then it causes hesitation and complications for the warfighters up front... If that warfighter knows that their family is good to go, they will go the the extra mile, which is what our nation asks."
Executive Director of the Presidential Military Spouse Commission Desiree Sayle: "This group has over 400 years of experience as an active duty military spouse... so if you can imagine that level of experience coming to this commission and solving real problems for the future of our military spouses and families, itโs just an incredible thing that youโre doing, President Trump."
POTUS: "There's NOTHING more important than the SAVE America Act. I think [the Senate] should stay... I think it's so important to get it passed."
POTUS on talks with Iran: "They're going on right now... This is the last chance. This is the last chance for them to sign a good document."
POTUS on Iran talks: "They're going to go quickly one way or the other. It's not very complex. We're talking about the opening of the Strait, having it open literally by tomorrowโcompletely open. That's phase one, and phase two is we then will talk about the nuclear... we're very strong on it: they cannot have a nuclear weapon."
POTUS roasts Fake "Bass Mouth" Traylor in the Oval Office:
"MSNOW? That's the failed MSDNC, right? They failed. They gave it a new name. You know why? Because nobody watched it โ and fewer people are watching it now."
POTUS: When I saw what happened in Spain, I said we had a version of thatโyou could say much worse. We allowed 25 million people under Joe Biden, the Democrats. We had open borders, and countries all over the world sent people that they donโt want into our country. We're going to be just like that if you put these lunatics in that I see running for office.
POTUS: "The best grass you can get โ Scotts. You know Scotts? Scotts Miracle-Gro. They do great grass, what can I tell you?" ๐คฃ

Another day, another illegal immigration rioter from last summer is sent to federal prison.
Yachua Mauricio Flores, 23, of Lincoln Heights, was sentenced today to 37 months in federal prison and ordered to pay $253,415 in restitution for his role in an pro-illegal immigration riot in downtown Los Angeles last year.
During the June 8, 2025 assault on officers, Flores stood on the Main Street overpass of the 101 Freeway and poured lighter fluid onto a burning California Highway Patrol vehicle below. His reckless actions escalated the flames as officers were trapped below facing rocks, concrete, street signs, fireworks, and burning debris thrown by protesters.
Flores also directed another individual to ignite and pour flaming liquid onto the same vehicle before adding more lighter fluid. Minutes later, he helped throw an electric scooter over the railing toward officers and CHP vehicles, aware of the substantial risk of death or serious injury.
Actions have consequences. Those who attack law enforcement will face the full force of justice. This defendant can now reflect on his actions from a federal prison cell.

Thanks to the FBI Detroit team for hosting me and for bringing these great partners together.
When we work with partners like these, we get outstanding results, as you continue to deliver across the country.
So far, this FBI has worked with partners to capture four subjects on three different continents, allegedly responsible for $1.8 billion in fraud, who were on the run for 3,500 days, and you got them all in just 1.5 months. Outstanding work.
I couldnโt be prouder of what this FBI has accomplished to make America safer.

The Autumn Lane Fire continues to be the most active this morning while crews say the Old Trails Fire and Fairview Fire stayed within their footprint overnight. Evacuations remain in place as emergency crews continue to work all three fires.
More than 2,000 firefighters are expected in Spokane County to fight the Spokane Area Fires this week. Officials said a key emphasis today is keeping drones out of the sky after 26 individual incidents of interference on Sunday.
Additionally, more than 200 people called the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) for evacuation after the fires broke out. Nowels said the sheriff's office has been able to account for all of them by phone except for 14.
