NEW: LAPD officers clashed with local natives at South Park Recreation Center in South LA late Sunday night.

Police responded to an unconfirmed incident at the park at 11:19 p.m. near 51st Street and Avalon Boulevard where natives were gathered following a basketball game between two ally neighborhoods.

Video shows the chaotic scene with officers detaining multiple people as others confront them. One woman is seen being arrested after tossing what appears to be a bottle in the crowd.

Reports state officers faced resistance as bottles were being thrown at them β€” which we’re told escalated into a scuffle between the parties and resulted in police shooting bean bags at individuals.

Two people were reportedly taken into custody after the situation, which lasted nearly 20 minutes, was managed, according to reports.

WATCH: DEVASTATING WILDFIRES RIP THROUGH SPOKANE, WASHINGTON

Fast-moving wildfires tore through neighborhoods across north Spokane, leaving entire communities reduced to ash. The wind-driven Old Trails Fire, along with the Autumn Lane and Fairview fires, destroyed more than 700 homes, forced thousands of residents to evacuate, and continues to threaten thousands more structures as dangerous fire conditions persist.

An official said, β€œThis fire behavior has been aggressive and unpredictable due to high winds and very dry fuels.”

Please keep the communities across Spokane in your thoughts and prayers, along with the first responders, as crews continue battling these fast-moving wildfires and the full extent of the destruction is still being assessed.πŸ™πŸ»
