After ten years of dedicated service to Carrollton, Sergeant Brown has officially signed off for the final time as she prepares to take on her next challenge: law school.
Loud, feisty, and fiercely loyal, Sergeant Brown was the kind of leader who would do anything for her officers, and her teammates loved her for it. Throughout her career, she served as a Field Training Officer, detective, sergeant, Honor Guard member and FTO sergeant. In that role, she was instrumental in strengthening Carrolltonโs field training program and preparing the next generation of police officers.
Sergeant Brown leaves behind a lasting impact on this department and the many officers she trained, mentored and supported along the way. We will miss her voice, her fire and the unwavering way she showed up for her people.
Thank you for ten unforgettable years of service, Sergeant Brown. We wish you nothing but success in law school and every endeavor that follows. Youโll always be part of the Carrollton Police family. ๐

Living in Los Angeles during COVID was quite the trip.
Solo paddleboarders being arrested in Malibu w/ beaches closed and police patrolling the sand. Sand being poured into skate parks in Venice. An unelected, non-medical "Dr." Barbara Ferrer calling the shots. Banning OUTDOOR dining, including forcing restaurants to turn their TVs off - then later admitting they had no medical evidence to support it. Vaccine mandates to enter establishments. All while they were falsely inflating COVID-19 hospitalization data in local hospitals to justify the the panic, not differentiating who was hospitalized with COVID, or for COVID.
If you broke your leg and tested positive for COVID, even with no symptoms, you were counted as a COVID hospitalization in Los Angeles County.
Those numbers were used to impose the lockdowns and strict rules.
So many businesses never recovered.
Below are a couple photos of two memorable photos I snapped in Santa Monica in March 2020 when the beaches were closed - not a single person was on the sand despite being a beautiful day, and police were actively patrolling the area to make sure nobody was on the sand or in nearby parks. Crazy in hindsight.

Praying for the officer who was injured in the line of duty this morning.๐๐ป An officer was injured during a chase this morning in Randolph County, Indiana. That is in the eastern part of the state. This happened at U.S. 36 and U.S. 27, according to Indianaโฆ
Please keep the Lynn, Indiana Police Department and the officer's family in your prayers.๐๐ป
A tragic update to pass along.
We have confirmed an officer has died after he was hit by a car while putting out stop sticks during a chase this morning.
He was identified as Lynn town Marshall Bradley Fisher. ISP tells us Fisher has 25+ years of law enforcement experience.
Deputies were chasing a known stolen vehicle with a driver who had active warrants.
Fisher was rushed to an area hospital and died shortly after getting there.
The driver โ a 34-year-old woman โ was taken into custody. Sheโs being checked at a local hospital and will be booked into jail after.
ISP is helping with this crash and death investigation.

Josh Hawley brings the receipts and exposes Dr. Fauci for using 8 different federal employees on federal time to chase over $1,000,000 in cash prizes for himself.
"You got RICH while people were dying."
"You were using federal employees with TAXPAYER MONEY to apply for and solicit cash prizes for you personally. Cash prizes totaling over a million dollars."
"And what were these individuals doing in the depth of the pandemic in November of 2020 when millions of Americans were suffering from COVID? What were they doing? I tell you what they're doing. Folkers was on your behalf soliciting and gathering information for a cash award."
"Let's look at it. We've got his email right here. Right over my shoulder. Folkers says, 'I'm working on this nomination for the Dan David award for Fauci. We need to beef up the COVID part. Do you have language in the that you could share that delineates how we responded in new ways to Covid.'"
"He sends this to multiple federal employees. What was the Dan David award? Do you remember, doc?"
FAUCI: "On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution."
HAWLEY: "It was a $900,000 cash award. $900,000 cash award. And he got it because he used federal employees to get it. And this wasn't the only award, was it, Dr. Fauci? In fact, you applied for and received at least eight other federal cash prizes on federal time using federal employees and federal resources.
"Here they are over my shoulder. Besides the Dan David award, you've got the Partnership for Public Service. You've got the Adelson prize, you've got the Smithsonian award, you've got the National Academy of Medicines award, you've got the CDC Foundation. In fact, you turn your staff into a full-time application machine."
"You actually wrote to people and said, 'Do you think maybe I'd qualify?' And you got cash for all of this. And it wasn't just one or two employees, was it? In fact, you used eight separate federal employees on federal time using federal resources to solicit cash awards. Isn't that true?"
FAUCI: "On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution."

"And the most hilarious part is that you weren't content to even dragoon them into applying for all of these cash awards. You then had them go out to the ethics agencies and ethics watchdogs and demand that you be able to get the money. That's right."
"We've got it in your emails. Your staff and employees on federal time using federal resources, being paid with federal dollars, are soliciting cash for you. And then they're turning around and saying to the agency, 'We don't want just an answer. We want to get to yes.'
"Because Fauci wants the money."

A driver hit a D.C. police officer while fleeing a traffic stop, fled Prince Georgeโs County officers who spotted him hours later and crashed on the Capital Beltway in Northern Virginia after a high-speed chase, authorities say.
The D.C. officer, a Virginia state trooper and an uninvolved driver were hurt, and Beltway traffic early Thursday was backed up for 12 miles.
A D.C. officer was conducting a traffic stop near Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Forrester Street SW at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the officer approached awhite Range Rover on foot and the driver sped off, striking the officer, who was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
โWe have an officer down!โ someone says on a radio dispatch call for an ambulance.
Police told the public they were searching for a white Range Rover with a South Carolina license plate that included the numbers 403.
About five hours later, just after 3:30 a.m., Prince Georgeโs County police spotted the car and began a pursuit. A witness to that part of the chase, which was captured by traffic cameras, was heading to work at the time.
The trooper was hurt but did not go to the hospital.
Praying for all involved.๐๐ป

"President Donald Trumpโs Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will fast-track decisions on asylum cases in an effort to cut down the massive backlog left by former President Joe Bidenโs administration."
The new rule, announced by USCIS Director Joe Edlow, allows adjudicators to refer cases directly to immigration judges without first interviewing applicants. The change aims to prevent system exploitation and improve efficiency, per DHS General Counsel James Percival.
