President Donald J Trump on Iran: "We've pretty much destroyed their military. They want to meet, and we're meeting. We'll see what happens. There's a chance we could make a deal. Without what we did, they wouldn't even be talking to us."
POTUS: "We have a lot of ammunitionโdifferent types. Biden gave a lot to Ukraine, and so we're building that up, but we have a lot. We have a lot of the mid-level stuff, tooโI mean more than we could ever use, no matter what."
POTUS: "We're going to use Iran's money to pay for the damage they did. In other words, the Iran money that we control will be used to pay for damages."
POTUS: "I have a good relationship with John Thune โ he's just gotta get his job done. You gotta get the SAVE America Act passed."
POTUS: "Rates should be lowered. This country could be at 8%, 9%, 10%, 12% GDPโthat's what it should be. We have other countries that are paying [lower] interest rates, and if it wasn't for us, they wouldn't even exist."
Q: "Why do you want the U.S. Senate to stay in town?"
POTUS: "What a stupid question."๐
Q: "Prime Minister Netanyahu opposes sending the F-35s to Turkey..."
POTUS: "Nobody tells me what we should be selling or not. Turkey has been a tremendous ally."
POTUS: "I have plenty of time... There's a good chance that something could happen โ and if it does, good. If it doesn't, we go back to what we were doing two days ago."

DRONE PROVIDES EYES OVERHEAD DURING VEHICLE VANDALISM CALL
At approximately 9:40 a.m. on June 17, LVMPD Communications received a report of a man damaging a vehicle outside a store near Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.
A remote drone launched from a nearby LVMPD Skyport and quickly arrived overhead, where it captured the suspect striking the vehicleโs windows with a bicycle seat and a brick. The drone pilot provided real-time updates to responding officers, giving them critical information before they reached the scene.
While officers were heading to the call, Good Samaritans had intervened and subdued the suspect.
David Huerta Salgado, 39, was arrested and booked on multiple felony, gross misdemeanor and misdemeanor charges, including destroying or injuring property valued at $5,000 or more, injuring or tampering with a vehicle, resisting a public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
This is another example of how LVMPDโs remote drone program provides officers with immediate situational awareness while helping us respond more safely and effectively.

The Cost of Criminal Justice Reform 7/27/26
Landon Player was arrested in February in McCracken County, Kentucky, on allegations that included second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy, sexual abuse, unlawful transaction with a minor, and distributing obscene matter to a minor.
Yet despite the gravity of those accusations, he was released on bond in May.
Now investigators allege that while free, he committed new offenses involving the possession of child sexual abuse material and violated the conditions of his release, so on July 20 he was arrested on new additional charges of 39 counts of possession of matter depicting sexual performance by a minor and one count of violation of conditions of release, incarcerating him in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

WATCH LIVE: President Donald J. Trump addresses manufacturing and trade in Michigan ahead of state's primary
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Ub28ALG4W/
POTUS: It's great to be back in Michigan, and hello to the men and women of General Motors! ๐บ๐ธ
POTUS: "This land bears the tire marks of every model of the legendary Chevy Corvette, it bears the scars of the first auto safety tests... and ever since the presidency of the late, great Ronald Reagan... this facility has proudly designed, built, and tested the Presidential Limousine, affectionately known as 'The Beast.'"
POTUS: "For decades, the autoworkers and manufacturers of this great state were sold out and betrayed by globalist politicians and corrupt special interests who let other countries steal your jobs, pillage your factories, and loot the crown jewels of American Industry from Detroit... Every president before me promised to stop itโbut none of them did anything... But now, at long last, Michigan finally has a president who stands up for Michigan Autoworkers, and puts America First." ๐บ๐ธ
"I also put a 25% tariff on all foreign trucks," says POTUS in Michigan.
"My policy is simple: if you make your truck or car in a foreign country, you have to pay for the privilege of sending it into our market, and making a lot of money. But if you build your factory in Michigan or someplace in our country, and make your automobiles or trucks right here in America, you pay zero tariff."
POTUS: Right here in Michigan, General Motors is expanding operations in Detroit to produce some of Americaโs most iconic vehiclesโincluding the Chevy Silverado, the G.M.C. Sierra, the world-famous Hummer, and the one and only Cadillac Escalade.
In 2026, G.M. increased truck and SUV production by 20 percentโand in the past two years, this company has invested $9 billion dollars in bringing factories home to the USA. ๐บ๐ธ
Auto Workers for Trump founder Brian Pannebacker: "We can thank this gentleman right here for all these jobs coming back. And I hear it all the time from all my connections at all the different auto plants around the metro Detroit areaโjobs are coming back to America!" ๐บ๐ธ๐ฅ
POTUS: "For decades, we were told that it was totally impossible to bring back American Manufacturing. Obama would say it... but it turned out that all you really needed to get them back was a new President."
POTUS on the Radical Left's mismanagement of their cities: "When they take something over, it's always dirty. The sidewalks are dirty, the people are โ I hate to say this โ not clean. The curbs are loaded with you-know-what. The smell is terrible." ๐คฃ
POTUS: "Under our leadership, we're making the largest-ever investment in the United States Armed Forces. Right here in Michigan, I got 21 new F-15EX Eagle II's for Selfridge Air National Guard Baseโensuring Michigan stays at the cutting edge of North American Air Power... We have the strongest military anywhere in the world, by far... I built it during my first term, and Iโm using it now... we're ensuring that [Iran] will never have a nuclear weapon."
POTUS: "To stop the massive theft of taxpayer dollars, we ended Medicaid for illegal immigrants, and we launched the war on fraud, led by our great VPโฆ We're finding unbelievable numbers of fraudโฆ it's all under very serious investigation."

It was a takeover-filled weekend across Los Angeles, especially in the San Fernando Valley.
This video from North Hills shows several vehicles doing donuts in an intersection. At one point, a passenger appears to be hanging out of a vehicle while holding what looks like an AR-style rifle.
Several injuries were reported, and at least two police pursuits reportedly originated from separate takeovers and were broadcast live on television Sunday afternoon. At least two people were taken into custody.
