Video shows a small black bear walking into the Crestline Village Water District office. The animal got on its hind legs and opened the door, all while employees watched in disbelief from their desks.⁠

According to office manager Josselyn Bryan, the bear left about 20 seconds later, leaving behind just a couple of nose prints.⁠

Kyle Dausman was just driving through Cherry Hills Village when officers pulled him over without warning. Officers thought he had a warrant attached to his vehicle. He didn't. They released him.

A few days later, he was pulled over again by one of the same Cherry Hills Village police officers. Same thing. The officer quickly recognized him and let him go.

He was pulled over because he passed a Flock automated license plate reader camera, which flagged his truck as associated with an active warrant, and alerted local police.

Both Dausman and Cherry Hills Village Police said he has no warrant.

Please, praying for Rankin County deputy Patrick Mullins who was seriously injured in the line of duty yesterday afternoon.🙏🏻

Approximately 3:42pm, a deputy with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department was involved in a motor vehicle crash while responding eastbound on Hwy 80 near Shiloh Parkway to an emergency call.

The Brandon Police Department and Pafford Ambulance Service responded to the scene in addition to other deputies with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department.

Provided that the crash occurred within the City of Brandon, the police department is investigating the crash.

After being extricated from the vehicle, the deputy was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in critical but stable condition.  The occupants of the other vehicle were assessed by medical personnel and not transported from the scene.

NEW: A Butler County Ohio deputy is hurt after a crash, according to Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones.

The crash happened in Ross Township, but it is unclear where in the township it occurred.

The details of the crash are still under investigation. Sheriff Jones has not identified anyone at this time.

NEW: A Phoenix Police Department officer was injured in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver at a city facility yard on Friday night.

According to the authorities, the wreck happened at around 10 p.m. on July 24, in the area near State Route 51 and Glendale Avenue.

Investigators reported that a driver in an SUV drove out of a parking lot heading north and crashed through a perimeter fence. The SUV then crashed into a parked Phoenix Police Department.

The impact of the accident caused a police officer to be ejected from the Tahoe.

According to the authorities, the driver of the SUV was suspected to have been impaired at the time of the accident.

A positive update on LaPorte County Deputy Jon Samuelson, as he recovers from being shot in the line of duty in May.

Jon Samuelson continues to make incredible strides in rehab, pushing through up to five hours of therapy a day with one goal in mind: walking again.

Samuelson is feeling tingling in his legs and lower back, along with some movement and spasms, according to his CaringBridge website.

He has been lifting weights, hand pedaling a mountain bike, and practicing balancing exercises.

He also started using a “regular” wheelchair as opposed to the electric one this week.

Some terror outfits and other groups are ‘intent on attacking U.S. citizens abroad,’ the advisory warned.

Outfits inspired by terrorist organizations “are intent on attacking U.S. citizens abroad,” including in Europe, the department said in a July 23 update. Belgium had been designated with the “Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution” classification earlier, with the latest update retaining the classification, while adding in risks of crime and unrest.

Terror operatives can use knives, vehicles, and firearms to target crowds. They typically aim their attacks at vulnerable and unprotected targets, such as places of worship, schools, shopping malls, public transportation systems, hotels and restaurants frequented by tourists, and high-profile public events, according to the advisory.
