“We don’t need more social experiments at MacArthur Park,” said Raul Claros of California Rising and the CD1 Coalition Mutual Aid Network, who unsuccessfully challenged Hernandez for her council seat. “We need the city to stop giving away needles to drug addicts and start restoring the park.”

Claros called for the city to temporarily close the park for a full-scale biohazard cleanup and refurbishment before reopening it with permanent park rangers, a stronger LAPD presence, expanded recreation programming, and increased Metro Police and sheriff patrols around the transit station. “It should be a place where families feel safe, not where criminal activity has replaced recreation,” he said.

Rogers Police Department, Arkansas, Mourns Loss of Young Officer After Elk River Drowning

The Rogers Police Department is grieving the loss of Officer Fred Marsh, 24, who died Saturday in a drowning accident while canoeing on the Elk River with his fiancée and friends.

According to the department, Marsh was in his first year as a Rogers police officer after graduating from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in April 2026. Despite his short time with the department, officials said he had already earned the respect of his fellow officers through his dedication and commitment to serving the community.

Police Chief Jonathan Best called Marsh’s death a heartbreaking loss, saying the young officer had a promising future and had already made a positive impact on those who worked alongside him. He also praised Marsh’s passion for helping others and said his service would not be forgotten.

Bodycam footage shows MTA officers citing the adult son of “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin after they say he entered a restricted area near active Metro-North railroad tracks.

Hostin asked whether officers could give him a warning, arguing that the open gate made the no-trespassing sign difficult to see. The officers calmly explained that the summons was necessary because of the serious safety risk.

Hostin is now representing her son and asking prosecutors to dismiss the violation.

The only people who benefitted from this movement were its Black gatekeepers. Black public safety got worse because law enforcement was vilified and crippled allowing the wolves among the community to prey even further as they were now shielded from accountability. Many people died because enforcing the law and holding the negative exception of our community accountable was now… racist.

Racial division became worse than it had been since the 60s (which was the goal… destabilization) and now no one can solve a problem without infusing racism even into a simple conversation about the color of the sky. 

It mentally hobbled many Black people, and guilted gullible Whites. Caused us to focus on historical trauma, instead of focusing on the present and the opportunities they now have that their ancestors didn’t.  Turned many otherwise intelligent  Black people into emotional thinkers instead of critical ones. A demonic movement indeed,  that runs completely in opposition to the word of God.

BREAKING: Authorities work the scene where multiple people were reported shot at a bar and lounge on Ridge Road in North Arlington, New Jersey, United States on July 19, 2026.

Multiple people were reportedly injured and police officers including some in tactical gear were seen at the scene. Evidence markers were placed on the ground highlighting evidence discovered at the scene. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

The Audrain County Sheriff's Office is mourning the loss of a second K9 after announcing Saturday that K9 Chal died just one day after fellow police dog Apollo.

According to a post on the Audrain County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, Chal passed away peacefully July 18 with his handler, Sgt. Derek Chism, and members of his home and work family by his side.
The announcement came one day after the sheriff's office shared that K9 Apollo had died following a recent cancer diagnosis. Apollo, who was diagnosed with rectal cancer on June 18, died July 17 with Sheriff Matt Oller and his family by his side.

Chal was born Oct. 13, 2016, in the Czech Republic and began serving Audrain County in 2017. Throughout his career, he was certified in narcotics detection, apprehension and aggression control, building and area searches, and tracking. The sheriff's office said he remained certified until his death.

In addition to the huge police presence by the coroner’s office last night there were also many police vehicles earlier in the day at Renown. “It is with profound sadness that we stand today with our brothers and sisters of the Reno Police Department,” the Reno Firefighters Association wrote today: “One death in a department is difficult, but three within a year is crushing.  We are here for you and we have your backs.”

The name or manner of death of this latest officer reported to have died have yet to be publicly released.
