BREAKING: Two people have climbed to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, holding a banner from the skyscraper's antenna reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace."

As of now it's unclear how the pair reached the top of the building as police work to get them down from the spire, 1,454 feet above the ground.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche announces the charges against EIGHT Tren de Aragua (TdA) members from Venezuela who came here illegally during the Biden administration and allegedly committed vicious kidnappings and murders in separate cases out of Texas and Illinois. FBI Director Kash Patel says the bureau has helped dismantle 2,700 gangs nationwide since President Trump took office, calling it a 365% increase over the same point in the previous administration.

Patel also said arrests tied to Venezuela's Tren de Aragua gang are up 519%, with hundreds of alleged members arrested on charges ranging from kidnapping and murder to drug trafficking and firearms offenses.

Currently, this data is fragmented. Databases are maintained by state and local jurisdictions that vary in their reporting standards. This means an individual convicted of animal cruelty in one jurisdiction who relocates can conceivably go undetected in the new jurisdiction.

Prayers to the family of Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael E. Pahira who lost his life in the line of duty this morning in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.🙏🏻

Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Michael E. Pahira, a 20-year veteran and motor carrier enforcement officer, died after being struck by a tractor-trailer while conducting a commercial vehicle inspection along Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County.

Authorities said a speeding tractor-trailer left the roadway, slammed into Pahira's parked inspection vehicle and the truck he was inspecting, trapping the trooper beneath the wreckage as a fire erupted.

Gov. Josh Shapiro said Pahira always wanted to be a police officer, and was a devoted brother, uncle and son.

“He was a good man and a good cop,” Shapiro said.

Flags will be lowered in the state to half-staff for Pahira.
