JUST IN: Colorado Springs Fire Department shares a video of the "Aspen Acres" fire. According to officials, the fire is over 28,000 acres with 0% containment.
Strong winds have hindered air support, and officials report multiple homes affected. Over 4,200 residents are in the evacuation zone, with mandatory evacuations ordered in multiple areas, including the towns of Beulah, Rye, and San Isabel. Several roads, including Colorado 165 and Colorado 78, are closed. Evacuation centers are open in Pueblo and Wetmore, and the Red Cross is urging monetary donations to aid efforts. Poor air quality has prompted officials to advise residents to stay indoors.

It is with great sadness that Sheriff Levett and members of the Rockdale County Sheriffβs Office, Georgia, announce the passing of Lieutenant Darlene Duke, a beloved member of the Jail Operations Bureau.
Lieutenant Dukeβs impact stretched far beyond her rank or title. She was someone who cared deeply for the people around her. She was a leader who believed in bringing people together, whether that was taking deputies on shift on trips, like white water rafting or encouraging them through the difficult moments that often come with the line of work required of Detention Deputies.
She had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and valued. To many, she was more than a Lieutenant. She was a mentor, a friend, and a steady presence they knew they could count on everyday. Her kindness, strength, and love for Team RCSO will never be forgotten.
Rest Easy Sister. Prayers for her family of blue and blood.ππ»

"Deputies were first on scene and immediately used fire extinguishers to knock back the fire until crews could get there. The JCSO Wildland Fire Management Team responded shortly after and helped douse hot spots.

The suspect was identified as Royce Ben Jameson, 25, of New Mexico. He was arrested on suspicion of the offense of Firing Woods or Prairie, 18-13-109 (2) (a), an F6, and Third Degree Criminal Trespass, 18-4-504, a petty offense. BREAKING: Stephen Miller just reacted to the SCOTUS ruling on Birthright Citizenship, and he didn't hold back for a SINGLE SECOND:
"This is absolutely a deep knife wound in the heart of the American republic."
"There is no possible reading of the 14th Amendment that applies to foreigners with foreign loyalties, foreign citizenship, foreign obligations, foreign everything."
"If your ruling requires you to suicide your civilization, your reading of the Constitution is wrong."

WATCH: Vice President JD Vance says the fight over birthright citizenship is far from over.
Speaking on The Ingraham Angle after the Supreme Court's decision, Vance said the Trump administration is exploring ways to "close down that loophole" while arguing the Court created the problem in the first place.
"The fact that this case was a 5-4 decision, effectively, means that the concept of birthright citizenship, which is an absurdity to the 14th Amendment, that concept is hanging by a thread," says VP.
"We have to keep fighting because we actually have an opportunity to reverse this decision, just as we've reversed so many bad decisions throughout the generations."
"That legislation is so important," says VP on the SAVE America Act.
"The problem that [some Senators] have, with all due respect, is that they're worshipping dying institutional norms, when the Democrats are, in fact, bragging that as soon as they get control, they're going to throw that stuff aside and make it so much harder for Republicans to even win elections."
VP on. Iran: "I actually think that the United States is in a great position however the negotiation ultimately shakes out. If the negotiation is successful, which obviously we want it to be successful, you have an Iran that is permanently transformed... if, on the other hand, the Iranians don't behave... their nuclear program is still destroyed, their conventional military is still destroyed, and the United States is still in a much stronger position relative to the Iranians."

NEW: OFF-DUTY NYPD OFFICER FIRES AFTER THREE THIEVES APPROACH HER CAR IN NYC
A 31-year-old off-duty officer from the 40th Precinct sat in her personal vehicle near West 148th Street and Broadway just before 5:45 a.m. Tuesday. A neighbor walked up and told her three men were stealing a catalytic converter from a parked car nearby, Scootercaster reports.
She drove over and started filming them on her phone.
The men saw the recording and walked straight toward her car to box it in. Two reached toward their waists.
She drew her gun and fired one round from inside the vehicle.
The three men ran and fled in a dark-colored BMW.
Investigators believe up to six people may have been working together on the theft.
