βI indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.β

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: FLAGSTAFF AZ FIRE UPDATE - Fire grew to 6,000 acres last night. Only 5 miles from Forest Highlands & Kachina Village. Tanker in Winslow took off at 9am & dropped on it in winds gusting to 40 kts. APS just left w/ 2 helicopters patrolling power lines. Never seen tankers fly in winds like this in 20 years of fueling them in Winslow. Their flying tells you everything. Fireβs continuing to spread fast. Winds slightly more north today w/ smoke west of airport instead of yesterdayβs easterly photos. Hopefully passes west of threatened communities. Either way, itβs headed to west Flagstaff threatening everything in its path including Belmont & possibly Parks, unlikely stopping in these winds. FLG forecast shows winds finally dying down ~10 pm. Fire >10,000 acres by then & long time to contain afterward given weather forecast.
