WATCH: President Donald J. Trump Receives Presentation of the Religious Liberty Commission Report.

POTUS: "In May of last year, I established the Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty to outline threats to the free exercise of religion in our country, and to provide recommendations for action. America was founded by people of faith, and it was settled as a haven for religious freedom. As we prepare to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our founding next week, it is only appropriate that we work to strengthen this fundamental right, and to, most essentially, have [religious] liberty for generations to come."

Chairman of the Religious Liberty Commission Dan Patrick: "We know what Communist do around the world: they remove God, they close the churches, they punish the believersโ€”and so this is so important, at this point in time in history... to stand up and say to America, 'You been given this great inheritance and you deserve to have religious liberty.'"

Dan Patrick and BenbCarson, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Religious Liberty Commission, read POTUS the recommendations of the commission in order to protect religious freedom in America

DrPhil, member of the Religious Liberty Commission: "What stuck out at me is how many Americans showed up saying that they were persecuted in healthcare, military, education... Itโ€™s not just the liberty to choose which house of worship they want, itโ€™s actually getting into their daily life, and they're being persecuted in their jobs, in their professions... Theyโ€™re having the courage to come and talk about that. They canโ€™t show a cross on their desk at school, they canโ€™t refuse a vaccine because itโ€™s against their religionโ€”and theyโ€™re having the courage to stand up for that, and President Trump is backing them all the way."

Chairman of the Religious Liberty Commission Dan Patrick: "We know what Communist do around the world: they remove God, they close the churches, they punish the believersโ€”and so this is so important, at this point in time in history... to stand up and say to America, 'You've been given this great inheritance and you deserve to have religious liberty.'"

POTUS on whether there will be consequences for Iran's violation of the ceasefire agreement:

"You'll find out. I don't like the fact that they took a shot yesterday โ€” actually four, we knocked down three โ€” at a ship... Will I respond? You're going to find out."

BREAKING: U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted strikes against Iran, June 26, as a powerful response to yesterdayโ€™s attack on a commercial ship that was transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
U.S. aircraft struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations and coastal radar sites after Iran hit M/V Ever Lovely on June 25 with a one-way attack drone. The Singapore-flagged cargo ship was exiting the Strait of Hormuz along the Omani coast at the time of Iranโ€™s attack.
The unwarranted aggression against commercial shipping by Iranian forces clearly violated the ceasefire. Furthermore, Iranโ€™s dangerous behavior undermined freedom of navigation as commerce increasingly flows through the vital international trade corridor.
CENTCOM forces continue to provide safe passage coordination and support to commercial vessels transiting the strait. The U.S. military remains present and vigilant to ensure all aspects of the agreement with Iran are adhered to, obeyed, and in full force and effect.

WATCH: A woman had a frighteningly close encounter with a grizzly bear as she was walking her dog at a wilderness camp in Alberta, Canada, on Wednesday, June 24.

The woman had just stepped outside with her morning coffee in hand to walk her dog Skoki down the gravel driveway when the bear appeared.

In order to get away, she threw her coffee mug and when she saw the bear go to investigate it, she started running. When she looked back, the grizzly was chasing her once again.

She ran back to where she had been camping with a group and others yelled and motioned at the bear. It eventually wandered off and chased a moose.

Los Angeles says it doesnโ€™t have enough money to fix our crumbling sidewalks. Yet the city walked away from $100 million in state funding that was specifically intended to repair sidewalks in underserved communities like Skid Row, Wilmington, and Boyle Heights because it said it couldnโ€™t get the work done on time. Thatโ€™s not a funding problemโ€”itโ€™s a leadership problem. Our neighborhoods deserve safe sidewalks, responsible management, and leaders who know how to deliver results instead of letting opportunities slip away.
