MUST WATCH: Sec. Mullin on some of the missing migrant children smuggled and sex trafficked under the Biden Administration: β€œThey were being RAPED 15-20 times a day. Day after day after day…what frustrates me the most is that this was preventable – and no one can argue that. This was 100% PREVENTABLE.”

Supporters say suppressors protect hearing, reduce recoil, and help make lawful shooting sports safer for responsible gun owners.

Now Congress is weighing competing approaches: more restrictions, or less federal red tape.

WATCH: Video shows the moment a cabin was engulfed by the fast-moving flames of the Cottonwood Fire burning in Beaver County, Utah.

UPDATE: The Cottonwood Fire has exploded to 70,992 acres and remains 0% contained, according to fire officials.

Firefighters continue working around the clock on multiple fronts:

β€’ Crews are working to protect the North Creek area on the west side of the fire.
β€’ On the east side, firefighters are building fireline from Highway 153 toward the Little Twist burn scar.
β€’ Hand crews are preparing homes and structures in the Cottonwood Creek area.
β€’ Rocky Mountain Power has assisted by clearing vegetation near power lines to help with fireline construction.
β€’ Additional Rapid Extrication Module Support (REMS) teams are arriving to improve emergency medical response for firefighters working in remote terrain.

Yesterday's cooler temperatures and higher humidity helped moderate fire behavior, but only about one-tenth of an inch of rain fell across the fire area. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again today, with wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph that could increase fire activity.

Helicopters were temporarily grounded Tuesday because of strong winds and poor visibility from smoke but returned to operations once conditions improved.

Air quality may improve at times as rain and shifting winds move smoke out of area valleys. Air Resource Advisors are expected to begin providing daily smoke and air quality forecasts.

Recently, troopers were honored to connect with the incredible athletes and families at Special Olympics New Jersey in Lawrenceville. From showcasing our motorcycles to posing for photos and sharing conversations, it was a day filled with smiles, excitement, and community spirit.

Troopers also had the privilege of escorting the athletes to Mercer Airport as they departed for Minnesota to compete in the USA Gamesβ€”a proud and exciting send‑off for an exceptional group of athletes.

The New Jersey State Police is proud to support Special Olympics New Jersey and grateful for the opportunity to connect with such inspiring individuals.
