I want to take a moment to publicly thank Officer Walker of the Memphis Police Department
Our family was denied a hotel room at the Best Western Executive Inn simply because my husband has a service dog. Heβs a disabled veteran, and the hotel had already been notified about the dog when we made the reservation. But when we arrived, they refused to honor it. The stress, the ridicule, the back-and-forthβit was becoming too much, and I was terrified it would trigger one of my husbandβs PTSD episodes.
So I called for an officer.
What happened next is something Iβll never forget.
Officer Walker arrived and immediately changed the entire energy of the situation. He didnβt rush. He didnβt escalate. He calmly spoke with my husband, asked about Abbyβhis service dogβtreated her with respect, and gently helped bring him back from a very overwhelming moment. Then he informed the hotel, clearly and professionally, that they were breaking federal ADA law.
Thankfully, Best Western corporate stepped in and ordered the hotel to give us the room we had every right to.
But what touched my heart most wasnβt just what Officer Walker saidβit was what he did.
He stayed with us.
He talked to my husband with kindness and patience.
He reassured me when I was on the verge of tears.
When our 1-year-old reached out, he didnβt hesitateβhe picked him up, comforted him, let him cuddle in his arms.
He even took the time to engage our anxious 10-year-old and 8-year-old, helping them feel safe again after everything theyβd just witnessed.
Officer Walker didnβt just resolve a situationβhe brought peace into the middle of our storm.
To Officer Walker:
THANK YOU.π
You were a beacon of light in an incredibly stressful moment for our family.
Your kindness, professionalism, and compassion made a world of difference.
Memphis PD, youβve got a good one.

WATCH LIVE: Blanche, Patel and RFK Jr detail the DOJ's annual healthcare fraud enforcement action, including alleged fraud losses, arrests, charges, and efforts to protect Medicare and Medicaid programs.
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1AUvhT2CJm/
Todd Blanche: "This announcement marks the greatest combined federal and state effort in combatting healthcare fraud in history. Thanks to the leadership of POTUS and VP, and all those folks standing behind me and next to me, we are more united than ever before."
Todd Blanche announces charges against 455 defendants across 45 states and territories for healthcare fraud schemes involving over $6.5 billion in false claims submitted to Medicare, Medicaid, and other programs
SecKennedy: This is "the 2nd largest amount ever charged in a single healthcare fraud operation."
"Every fraudulent dollar diverted into a criminal scheme is a dollar unavailable for patient care, for medical innovation, or for services for vulnerable Americans."
FBI Director Kash Patel: "America, you should take a look. You should take a look at what leadership from the White House and POTUS' prioritization to go after and combat fraud looks like... fraud is no longer being tolerated.
Those, who are stealing from us day in and day out those days are OVER!
This should showcase to the WORLD the lengths that we will go as an interagency and as a taskforce to apprehend, arrest, and bring to JUSTICE anyone who steals our dollars that are meant for our most vulnerable citizens."
Assistant AG Colin McDonald announces agreements with CMSGov "to obtain dedicated cloud computing space... to run real-time, advanced analytical models to detect fraud," as well as with the FTC and CBP "to eliminate data silos and enrich our algorithms." π
DrOzCMS: "We now use techniques that, historically, were never thought of. Instead of just flagging problems, we build cases... by the time our law enforcement partners are ready to move, we aim to hand them a file that is already complete, already ready.
In Q1 2026, we revoked 1,006 fraudulent providers' billing privileges (40% more than same period last year).
In the first half of the year, we've made 1,000 Medicaid payment suspensions (500% more than same period last year).
And we're just getting started."
AFergusonFTC: "A nurse practitioner is accused of having billed Medicaid for almost $1B in skin substitute allografts...she was using human beingsβAmerican citizensβas living piggy banks, and she took the money...and she bought $865,000 necklaces that the department seized."

Six people have been arrested, and seven people have been cited, for the damage they did to our Countryβs now beautiful Reflecting Pool. The 350 foot gash, made by a very sharp knife or razors, is actually numerous slashes over a very long 350 foot length. It was purposefully and criminally done, and somebody had to work very hard, probably in the dark of night, to create such a condition. Likewise, the small area at the bottom of the Pool was cut and powerfully lifted off the surface leaving very jagged, uneven edges. The large areas of grass are being replaced. In any event, even prior to fixing those areas, the Reflecting Pool is as beautiful as it can be. We will drain some of the water, either immediately before or after the Fourth of July, to do the permanent repair. President DONALD J. TRUMP
