WATCH IN FULL: VP JD Vance delivers remarks from the Lake Lucerne Summit in Switzerland
βYesterday was a very, very good day. We made a lot of good progress,β says VP on the four big accomplishments negotiated yesterday in Switzerland.
βThe Iranians have agreed to invite IAEA inspectors back into their country. That is a major milestone for the American people and the first step in permanently ending a nuclear weapons program in Iran.β
VP: I would describe the progress on Lebanon as "very good progress."
"We want a regional ceasefire... we've been, I think, very good at setting up what we're calling a deconfliction mechanism... when things happen, the sides are actually talking to one another."
VP: "We do believe β of course it's going to require a lot of hard work β that we can get to a place where Lebanon's territorial integrity and sovereignty is protected, Israel's security is protected. That's going to require some coordination with the Lebanese armed forces, and also, it's going to require the Iranians to rein in Hezbollah. That's all the sort of things that we were talking about yesterday β and again, I think that we got much further compared to where we were just 24 hours ago."
VP says the negotiating team accomplished a "classic Trump deal" in Switzerland.
"Where IF Iranian assets are ever unfrozen, they're going to go to make American farmers richer, and to feed the Iranian people... that's great for our people, great for the people of Iran, and fundamentally, will contribute to this regional security architecture that we built..."

BREAKING: In a nationwide first, a drone was successfully used to disarm an armed suspect, helping bring the incident to a safe resolution.
Sacramento Sheriffβs Special Enforcement Detail (SWAT) had the residence surrounded. The known felon and Parolee-At-Large was seen earlier with a firearm. After not responding to negotiators, a drone was deployed inside the residence. Drone pilots located the suspect hiding in a corner of a garage. One of his hands was concealed under his body, and the other was holding a knife. He was obviously alive, but not responding. Was he pretending to be dead or simply lying in wait for deputies to approach?
Rather than rush into a potentially deadly encounter, one drone pilot came up with an innovative solution. By attaching a powerful magnet to the drone, the pilot was able to safely remove the knife from the suspectβs hand before deputies moved in. It was an incredible display of creativity, skill, and precision by the drone pilot.
Itβs also worth noting that our drones are labeled as βmilitary equipmentβ (even though anyone can purchase them at their local Walmart), but are really just another piece of technology helping deputies resolve dangerous situations safely. Their use protects both law enforcement personnel and suspects.

BREAKING: Drug Epidemic Drops to Historic Low as Trump Admin Makes Huge Recovery Push.
This investment from the Trump administration draws a sharp contrast from the counter drug addiction initiatives made by former President Joe Biden and some Democrat state administrations, like that of Gov. Gavin Newson, who directed millions in taxpayer dollars in housing for drug addicted homeless, free syringes (needles) and βcrack kitsβ for withdrawing addicts.
