The San Bernardino County Fire Protection District is saddened to announce the death of active-duty Fire Engineer Robert “BJ” Myers. BJ passed away peacefully with family, friends, his service dog “Scout”, and County Fire members by his side.

He served with honor, professionalism, and courage. He was a valued member of our Community Outreach and Support Team (C.O.A.S.T.), and a true public servant who demonstrated compassion and commitment to the community.

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of red and blood. 🙏🏽

Praying for the Oakland police officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty this morning.🙏🏽

NEW: Two people are dead after the stolen SUV they were driving crashed into an Oakland police vehicle, injuring an officer on Monday.

The incident happened just after 11 a.m. on E. 12th Street near 29th Avenue.
According to the Oakland Housing Authority, one of its officers spotted the SUV
driving erratically and attempted to pull it over, but the suspects sped off. The officer did not engage in a pursuit.
The two people in the stolen SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.
A third suspect ran away from the scene after the crash but was taken into custody a short time later by an Oakland Housing Authority officer.
The officer was taken to
the hospital, but his condition is unknown at the time.

Union County sheriff's deputies deployed a drone and searched the area after finding a crashed vehicle abandoned with its license plate removed before stopping a Lyft carrying the suspect.

A Covington County Mississippi Sheriff's deputy was shot in the line of duty Monday afternoon in Mount Olive, according to law enforcement officials.

Chief Deputy Ricky Lott confirmed that the deputy was injured during the incident and was being transported to a hospital for treatment. The deputy's condition was not immediately available.

The shooting occurred near the intersection of South Fourth Street and Main Street in Mount Olive.

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene. According to Mississippi Highway Patrol Officer Kevin Forbes, investigators with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI), along with personnel from MHP Troop J and Troop C, were en route to assist with the investigation.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Every day our Troopers and Officers are out there working hard to make Georgia safer. While every stop has the potential to change one life, some stops have a far greater reach. Recently, our hardworking Troopers and K-9’s conducted a traffic stop on a tractor trailer on Interstate 20 in Carroll County for a traffic violation. After speaking with the driver, our Trooper requested K-9 Draco to assist. After alerting to illegal substances, Draco and his handler and other Troopers discovered four suspicious pallets hidden amongst other cargo in the trailer. Thanks to the efforts of CIU and K-9 Draco more than 1800 pounds of marijuana and over 4,000 illegal THC vape cartridges were taken off the streets and helped to make our communities safer.

Attempted murder caught on video in Los Angeles: Far-left protesters surround pro-Trump activist Jon Mellis, a former Jan. 6 defendant, outside the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building, douse him with a liquid (widely reported as gasoline), and chase him as he runs for his life.

One spark and it could have been fatal. Mellis was filming when identified and attacked amid ongoing anti-ICE protest. LAPD briefly detained him but released without charges; no arrests of the attackers reported so far.

This is pure mob violence. American citizens should be able to express support for the President without fearing for their lives.

In April, CBP Port of Detroit officer Sergiu Botezan was walking his dog when he noticed a distressed child riding a bike in his neighborhood.

The boy told Botezan he was lost and asked for help to contact his mother. Botezan called his mother, and waited with the child until she arrived.

Our officers truly are the best of the best. Thank you, Officer Botezan, for helping ensure a safe reunion between this child and his mother.
