Today, Hollenbeck officers participated in the annual Special Olympics Torch Run. They proudly received the Flame of Hope from School Police and carried it before passing it on to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. The Special Olympics Torch Run is a fundraising event that supports athletes participating in Special Olympics programs while promoting camaraderie, inclusion, and strong partnerships among law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve. The event also helps raise awareness about the importance of inclusion, acceptance, and equal opportunities for individuals with special needs and intellectual disabilities, celebrating their achievements and contributions both on and off the field.

NEW: Suspect who shot San Francisco police officer was released from prison 6 months ago.

Suspect Norris Reed has been charged with attempted murder in a shooting that left SFPD officer Brittney Taylor hospitalized in serious condition. Norris was released from prison six months ago after serving more than 14 years in prison for kidnapping and grand theft.

Slow Pursuit in South LA – June 4, 2026 | 12:53 AM PST

LAPD Southwest initiated a pursuit of a stolen motorbike at approximately 12:53 AM. The pursuit began in the Crenshaw and Adams area and traveled through Downtown Los Angeles, Inglewood, LAX, and back into South LA, a little bit of everywhere.

The suspect led officers on a nearly 3-hour pursuit that finally came to an end when he crashed into a police vehicle at Crenshaw & Hyde Park and was taken into custody. 03:44AM His mother was watching it all unfold.

NEW: Gov. Gavin Newsom said he has a secret “break the glass” plan to prevent California from electing a Republican governor. He recently signed a law that states mail in ballots signatures do not have to match.
SB73 Section 3. Clause F reads : (f) A vote by mail voter observer shall not be permitted to challenge a signature on a vote by mail ballot return envelope pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 3019, or on statements completed pursuant to subdivisions (d) and (e) of Section 3019, on the basis that they believe the signature does not compare with the signatures appearing in the voter’s registration record.

There’s no election integrity in California.
❌ Mail in ballots to every Californian and even if you moved state, you’ll still get a ballot.
❌ signatures do not need to match
❌ unsecured drop boxes that get vandalized and set on fire
❌ months of counting with ballots being flown in by helicopter.
❌ No voter ID
❌ “Honor system” for voter registration.

Until election integrity is addressed we will never have a balanced state.
