WATCH: President Donald J. Trump sat down for an interview with the New York Post, discussing Iran negotiations, the upcoming midterms, and who he sees leading the Republican ticket in 2028. The president also weighed in on key Senate races that could shape control of Congress. Beltway Democrats are quietly bracing for more politically damaging details to emerge on embattled Maine Senate hopeful Graham Platner and fretting that he could jeopardize their already narrow path to retaking the Senate this cycle.
POTUS on Iran: "That'll be a very big success... We've essentially defeated the military. We'll see what happens. We’re working on a deal, and if that happens, fine — and if it doesn't happen, that's ok too, we'll do it the other way."
"I think we're going to be in very good shape. We're in good shape right now," says POTUS on Iran.
"I think this will resolve itself fairly quickly."
POTUS: "Iran has no navy, they have no air force, they have very few soldiers. They have no leadership... their economy is crashing, they have 250% inflation... and then, if you read The New York Times, you'd think they're doing fantastically, it’s amazing."
POTUS: "If you take away just the price of gasoline, the energy, we have very little inflation. We're doing very well other than this... that’s a big factor... and that'll start coming down very rapidly as soon as this ends."
POTUS on his phone call with PM Netanyahu: "I wouldn't say angry. I was a little bit perturbed at his constantly fighting with Lebanon. At some point, I said, 'Bibi, we gotta stop this' ... but we've worked very well together."
POTUS on the 2020 election: "The only thing I can say is that I think we're probably having a better term than if it was [2021-2025]."
POTUS on Democrat candidates: "We have like 350M people... We do have great ones, but they don't seem to be chosen by the Democrats. Now, of course, the Republicans chose one of the finest intellects in the history of our country." 🤣
POTUS: "I have to make a determination: do we sign a deal or do we do it the other way?"
NYP: "What will 'the other way' achieve?"
POTUS: "Certainty. It would be over. There wouldn't be any bullshit... but I'd rather do it the nice way, from a humanitarian standpoint."
POTUS on Biden: "He wasn't at the top of his game, but you have to understand, if you go back 35 years ago, he was not considered a smart person. He was never a smart person. He was a horrible president."
POTUS: "Todd Blanche's doing a very good job at DOJ."
NYP: Will he be Attorney General?
POTUS: "I think he will... I wanted to see how he was received. We put him as Acting, and he's done a very good job."
POTUS on his physical exam: "They said I'm very healthy. I do physicals because I think I have an obligation to do it. I just came out with very, very good results, and I took a cognitive test, and I got a 100% on it."
POTUS on 'musicians' backing out of Freedom 250: "I never even heard of these people... I don't even want them." 🤣
"When I heard a couple of them cancelled out, I said, 'Cancel the whole thing. We're going to do a rally.'"

BREAKING: Today, Jamshid Ghomi, a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen who lives in a $35 million mansion in Orange County, California, was arrested on a federal criminal complaint charging him with selling computer technology to Iranian companies and Iran’s government — including technology to help with Iran’s military and nuclear program.
These allegations assert that the defendant violated U.S. sanctions against Iran, aided one of our nation’s enemies, supported Iran’s nuclear program, and got rich doing it. Not only is he being arrested today, but we also are beginning the process of seizing his mansion, which was purchased with his illegal proceeds. Thanks to the work of US Attorney Essayli’s office, Commerce Gov, and IRS_CI’s Los Angeles Field Office, he will face the full force of justice.

A very sad situation in Salem County, with the passing of two canines. We do not have any details besides what’s in the article. Hopefully this was not heat related deaths in the vehicle but with temperatures rising we urge handlers to test your heat alarms weekly and remember they are not a substitution for physically checking on your dog often.
“The deaths of Rip and Boomer remain under investigation by the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office, the Salem County Sheriff’s Office said.
“Their loyalty, service, and dedication to protecting the residents of Salem County will never be forgotten,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook. “We honor their lives with gratitude for all they gave and the service they performed alongside our officers in the countless ways they helped protect our community.
Due to the ongoing investigation, the sheriff’s office said they were unable to offer further comment.
“This office seeks to understand the full details of how this incident transpired and plans to release information when able,” the sheriff’s office said. “Until then, we must respectfully defer all questions to the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office.”
The dogs were working Friday and their K-9 handler has been placed on leave, Salem County Sheriff Charles Miller told NJ.com. The K-9s traveled together in a vehicle outfitted for two dogs, Miller said to NJ.com. The animals were pronounced dead after being taken to an emergency veterinary hospital in Delaware, Miller said to NJ.com.
The Salem County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the investigation.
“On behalf of the Salem County law enforcement community, we too mourn the tragic loss of K9 Officer Rip and K9 Officer Boomer, loyal partners who served with courage and dedication,” Prosecutor Kristin Telsey said.”

NEW: "A conflict between a Youtuber and a Bricks & Minifigs executive over a Lego collection worth $200,000 has garnered public attention and has led to accusations of misconduct being levied at the American Fork Police Department.
American Fork Police Department (AFPD) has publicly released information and footage related to the case in an effort to be transparent, and the department said that their involvement was limited to enforcing Utah state law.
The saga goes back to a case in Oregon, wherein a man claims that he entered into a consignment agreement with a Bricks & Minifigs franchise for his and his father’s Lego collection, reportedly worth $200,000. According to the lawsuit filed by Bricks & Minifigs, the franchisee breached the terms of their agreement, and the corporate franchisor sold the store to another franchisee.
At that point, the man asked for his property back, and the franchisee told him that they were not party to the consignment agreement and that they did not have his collection. Benjamin Schneider, known on YouTube with the name Reckless Ben, got involved in the case, creating videos about the situation on the man’s behalf and accusing the Bricks & Minifigs franchise of stealing.
Schneider was arrested twice by AFPD back in March after visiting the home of one of the franchise executives multiple times and attempting to serve him with legal papers. He was subsequently charged with two misdemeanors: stalking and targeted residential picketing. In a separate case, he was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass after notice for an incident on December 10, 2025."
