The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is saddened to announce the passing of Detective Robert A. Bolanos after a lengthy illness.

Detective Bolanos joined the Department in 2000 where he served at North County Correctional Facility (NCCF) and Men's Central Jail (MCJ). He completed his patrol training at Century Sheriff's Station where he became a school resource officer. His last assignment was as a detective at Pico Rivera Sheriff's Station.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones, friends, and partners in tan and green during this difficult time.

NEW: Buffalo police officer shoots suspect twice after being stabbed in the back with scissors and box cutter

On Saturday afternoon, May 23, 2026, on Buffalo’s East Side at Broadway and Liddell Street, officers were flagged down by a bystander about a man in distress.
During the confrontation, the suspect produced a pair of scissors in one hand and a box cutter in the other. A physical struggle ensued, and the suspect stabbed one officer in the back.
Officers deployed a Taser, but the suspect refused to drop his weapons.
The stabbed officer then fired twice, striking the suspect in the torso and hip.
Both the officer and the suspect were transported to Erie County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect underwent surgery.

CT State Police Troop D is saddened to announce the passing of Retired Trooper First Class Nicholas Leary #1370, who passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

TFC Leary graduated from the 106th Training Troop and served the citizens of Connecticut with honor and distinction for over 20 years. Assigned to Troop D – Danielson, he was a dedicated three-time German Shepherd K9 handler whose impact will not be forgotten.

Following his retirement from the Connecticut State Police, Leary continued his service as a K9 handler with the Mohegan Tribal Police.

The temperature inside the chemical tank in Garden Grove was at least 100° when firefighters checked it last night. The problem is 100 is as high as the temperature gauge on the tank goes so they don’t know how hot it actually is.

NEW: An ATM burglary crew is in custody after crashing near the Cook County Jail, officials say.

One of them allegedly stole a deputy’s squad car, leading cops on a chase at 115 mph, crashing through two toll booths on the Skyway, before being caught.

The FBI has the evidence against Schiff and Swalwell for their role in the Russiagate conspiracy against President Trump.

The extract above, from the FBI FILES shows how Schiff and Swalwell spread classified, and false information.

Steele and Halper fabricated the story that President Trump's National Security Advisor General Flynn had suspicious Russian contacts. Schiff and Swalwell publicly and falsely described this lie as an affair with me.

I was smeared as a Russian spy in the press and social media.

As the FBI noted the motivation was that Schiff wanted to be the head of the CIA as promised by Hillary. That's why they wanted to overthrow President Trump.

Knowing it was a lie, the pair falsely portrayed President Trump as a traitor who appointed a Russian agent into a senior national security position.

Abusing their positions on the House Intel Committee is how they tried to impeach President Trump through the fake Mueller inquiry.

The FBI has had this evidence for years but the DoJ never charged Schiff or Swalwell.

Fire officials say they've been conducting an all-night mission monitoring the overheated tank to see if the threat of an explosion has passed, as Governor Gavin Newsom declares a state of emergency.
