More needless suffering?

A 13-year-old boy was found shot and gravely wounded between two homes in South Chicago this afternoon.

Nobody called 911 to report gunfire in the area.

The mayor disconnected the local ShotSpotters in 2024.

With the upcoming World Cup fast approaching, I recently spoke with ABC7 about the importance of public safety and the measures we are taking to help ensure a safe environment for everyone.

β€’We encourage the public to remain vigilant. If you hear, see, or read anything that causes concern or suggests a potential threat, please contact law enforcement immediately so it can be properly investigated. By working together, we can help save lives.

β€’For those who own firearms, make sure they are properly secured and safely stored at all times.

β€’Parents are encouraged to stay engaged and aware of the individuals their children associate with, both in person and online.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is working closely with the Inglewood Police Department, the California Highway Patrol, and multiple local, state, and federal partners to coordinate security efforts for the World Cup.  While we will collaborate with federal agencies to ensure the safety and security of the event, these efforts are not related to civil immigration enforcement.

Our priority is to keep the games safe for our residents, visitors, and all who attend.

Please, praying for the Jackson County Sheriff's deputy who was seriously injured in the line of duty earlier this week.πŸ™πŸ»

Mississippi: The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is providing an update on the condition of Deputy Craig Scott, who was injured in a multivehicle crash Tuesday.

JCSO said Deputy Scott remains in stable condition and is making improvements. However, he still has a long road to recovery, with multiple surgeries planned.

β€œBy the grace of God, Craig survived. Given the circumstances of the accident, the outcome could have been far different, and we are beyond thankful he is still here with us,” the page reads.
The wreck happened Tuesday at the intersection of Old Biloxi Road and Stanley Road. It involved Scott, who was riding a motorcycle, and three other vehicles.
Craig was flown to USA Health University Hospital in Mobile. No one else involved in the wreck was taken to the hospital.

"For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

We send our thoughts and prayers to LaPorte County Sheriff’s Deputy Jon Samuelson, his family, and his fellow officers and friends. πŸ™πŸ»

A La Porte County sheriff’s deputy was critically wounded Friday morning, May 22, 2026, after being shot inside the emergency department at Franciscan Health Michigan City in Northwest Indiana, in an incident that began when the officer stopped to help a stranded motorist, authorities said.

Indiana State Police said Deputy Jon Samuelson, 33, was traveling near State Road 2 in the Westville area around 6:45 a.m. when he stopped to assist a driver with a disabled vehicle. The driver, later identified as Sharod Grafton Jr., 22, of Chicago, reportedly asked Samuelson for a ride to the hospital, which the deputy provided.

Once at Franciscan Health Michigan City, investigators say Samuelson learned the man may have been connected to an earlier criminal incident in Illinois. He then returned to the emergency department to make contact with Grafton, where a physical altercation broke out inside the ER.

During the struggle, Grafton allegedly pulled a handgun and fired three times, striking the deputy and critically wounding him. No patients, visitors, or hospital staff were injured during the incident.

After the shooting, the suspect fled on foot from the hospital and ran into a nearby wooded area west of the facility. Law enforcement quickly established a perimeter and located him shortly afterward. Grafton was taken into custody without further incident, and a handgun believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered.

Deputy Samuelson, a 12-year veteran of the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office and K-9 handler, was initially treated at Franciscan Health before being airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend, where he remained in critical condition as of the latest updates.

Tulsi Gabbard said Friday that she is resigning as the director of national intelligence, stepping aside after her husband was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.

"I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead ODNI for the last year and a half.

Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle."

Chicago Police Officer Seriously Injured in Brass Knuckles Attack at Ambulance Scene.

A Chicago police officer is recovering after he was brutally attacked Tuesday by two suspectsβ€”one wearing brass knucklesβ€”who were blocking an ambulance, according to family members.
The assault happened Tuesday when Officer Kevin Mangan responded to a call concerning people blocking an ambulance at the scene of an unrelated incident in the McKinley Park neighborhood, WBBM-TV reports. As Managan was writing a ticket, a woman began pounding on his cruiser, and a man allegedly wearing brass knuckles started punching the officer, Denise McBroom, Mangan's aunt, told the Tribune.
According to McBroom, the suspects, who were not connected with the ambulance call, attacked Mangan because he was a law enforcement officer.
Mangan was repeatedly struck by the suspect. The attack severely damaged his mouth.

Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for the officer's recoveryπŸ™πŸ»

I am a J6er.

I protested a stolen election.  Walked right past the police through an open door, and the police let me in.

My father's step son turned me into the FBI.  My house was raided.
They branded me a traitor, and insurrectionist, slapped me on a terrorist watchlist.

I plead guilty to illegal picketing, a Class B petty offense misdemeanor with the same sentencing guidelines as walking your dog off leash on a National Park .

They swore no prison time. They lied. Judge Hogan sentenced me to 30 days for β€œnot being remorseful enough” and three years’ probation to tie me up through elections.

An unconstitutional "split" sentence.  My Judge, Judge Hogan called J6 worse than the war of 1812.

All I did was chant "Stop the Steal!" inside the Capitol and wear the wrong Tshirt.

God Bless the J6ers!
