NEW: Two people are dead after a plane crashed into an Akron Ohio home on Thursday afternoon.

Akron police confirmed it happened around 3:45 p.m. in the area of Canterbury Circle.
The police department said there were two fatalities. It is unclear if the house was occupied, but officials said nobody inside the home was injured.

Please, praying for the Greensville sheriff’s deputy who was shot in the line of duty this morning🙏🏻

Virginia: A man is dead and a Greensville sheriff’s deputy is injured after a early morning shooting on Thursday.

Just after 5 a.m. on May 14, Greensville County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Fiddlers Road for a domestic incident. Officials say the suspect initially left the scene, but returned after deputies showed up.

Outside of the home, the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot at deputies, hitting one, before going inside.
A gunshot was then heard from inside the residence. Law enforcement eventually made entry into the home where the suspect was found deceased.

A 10-year-old was found in the home uninjured.
The wounded deputy was taken to VCU hospital and is in stable condition.

NEW: Three officers and another man were hospitalized after a 27-year-old struck 2 police vehicles and a building while fleeing a carjacking pursuit in Baltimore last night.

While officers were approaching the vehicle the 27-year-old man was driving, he sped away, leaving the scene.
Officials say he would then hit two police vehicles and then a building in the 1600 block of Booker Court.
He then tried to run away, was arrested, and was then taken to an area hospital, as he had minor injuries.

Another man was hospitalized along with three officers who were also treated for minor injuries at area hospitals. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for their recovery🙏🏻

Sherman Oaks, LA: Police investigated reports of an attempted residential break-in Thursday morning in the 5200 block of Nagle Avenue, where two individuals were eventually taken into custody, according to qmpnews.

Authorities responded to the area after a neighbor called 911 reporting multiple people were allegedly attempting to break into an elderly resident’s home. Upon arrival, officers began contacting occupants of a vehicle believed to possibly be involved.

A large police presence responded to the scene as the investigation unfolded. Two individuals were later taken into custody without further incident.

When President Xi very elegantly referred to the United States as perhaps being a declining nation, he was referring to the tremendous damage we suffered during the four years of Sleepy Joe Biden and the Biden Administration, and on that score, he was 100% correct. Our Country suffered immeasurably with open borders, high taxes, transgender for everybody, men in women’s sports, DEI, horrible trade deals, rampant crime, and so much more!
President Xi was not referring to the incredible rise that the United States has displayed to the world during the 16 spectacular months of the Trump Administration, which includes all-time high stock markets and 401K’s, military victory and thriving relationship in Venezuela, the military decimation of Iran (to be continued!) — Strongest military on earth by far, economic powerhouse again, with a record 18 trillion dollars being invested into the United States by others, best U.S. job market in history, with more people working in the United States right now than ever before, ending country destroying DEI, and so many other things that it would be impossible to readily list. In fact, President Xi congratulated me on so many tremendous successes in such a short period of time.
Two years ago, we were, in fact, a Nation in decline. On that, I fully agree with President Xi! But now, the United States is the hottest Nation anywhere in the world, and hopefully our relationship with China will be stronger and better than ever before!

We regret to pass on that a member of the Chicago Fire Department died in the Line of Duty today, Thursday, during a training exercise. It happened shortly after 1500 hours in the 6600 block of North Kedzie Avenue in the West Rogers Park neighborhood.
The member who died was a 30-year veteran of the department. The death comes less than two months after Chicago Firefighter Michael Altman was killed in an apartment fire in Rogers Park. A man has been charged with arson and murder in Altman’s death. More to follow. Our condolences to all those affected. Rest In Peace.
