BIANCO VOWS TO SCRAP CALIFORNIA INCOME TAX, BLASTS ENERGY POLICY AND OIL DEPENDENCE
California gubernatorial candidate Chad Bianco says he would eliminate the state income tax entirely if elected, arguing the state could replace that revenue by ending restrictive energy policies and producing its own oil instead of relying heavily on imports from other states and countries.
He claims Californiaβs dependence on outside oil makes energy up to five times more expensive and that full in-state production could fund government operations on its own.
Bianco also criticized Democratic regulations that he says discourage drilling and increase costs, pointing to billions spent in oil and gas lobbying in California and major political donations across parties, arguing the current system benefits special interests while raising costs for residents.

Our LASD riders pushed through 240 miles over 3 days from New Jersey to Washington D.C., enduring heat, chilling winds, and rain along the way.
Every hill climbed and every moment of doubt overcome led them closer to the finish line, proving that endurance is built through purpose and perseverance.
LASD was proud to ride alongside the many agencies that make up Chapter 7 of the Police Unity Tour. While departments from across the country come together for this journey, they all ride with the same mission and the same purpose to honor the fallen and ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten.
This is the Police Unity Tour.

CNBC incorrectly reported that the Great Jensen Huang, of Nvidia, was not invited to the incredible gathering of the Worldβs Greatest Businessmen/women proudly going to China. In actuality, Jensen is currently on Air Force One and, unless I ask him to leave, which is highly unlikely, CNBCβs reporting is incorrect or, as they say in politics, FAKE NEWS! It is an Honor to have Jensen, Elon, Tim Apple, Larry Fink, Stephen Schwarzmann, Kelly Ortberg (Boeing), Brian Sikes (Cargill), Jane Fraser (Citi), Larry Culp (GE Aerospace), David Solomon (Goldman Sachs), Sanjay Mehrotra (Micron), Cristiano Amon (Qualcomm), and many others journeying to the Great Country of China where I will be asking President Xi, a Leader of extraordinary distinction, to βopen upβ China so that these brilliant people can work their magic, and help bring the Peopleβs Republic to an even higher level! In fact, I promise, that when we are together, which will be in a matter of hours, I will make that my very first request. I have never seen or heard of any idea that would be more beneficial to our incredible Countries! President DONALD J. TRUMP

WATCH: VCFD Boat 15 responded to a fire onboard a non-operational natural gas platform offshore of Santa Barbara yesterday, as part of a regional mutual-aid response.
The incident was managed under the command of the U.S. Coast Guard, Santa Barbara County Fire Department and VCFD was proud to support the response alongside our regional partner agencies.
The continued Ocean Operational Area collaboration through the USCG Area Maritime Security Committee, USCG Area Contingency Planning Regions 4 & 5, and the Sector LA/LB Marine Firefighting Contingency Planning played a key role for this successful and well coordinated response. This incident utilized a marine firefighting and response strategy that paralleled wildland Air Operations branch management with strategies and tactics adapted for the marine environment, including the use of a vessel coordinator and vessel support group supervision.
While wildfire mutual aid often sends our firefighters across California, this incident highlighted the important role of regional cooperation closer to home β including fire suppression and emergency response operations in the coastal waters surrounding Ventura County.
These responses reflect the strength of the mutual-aid system and the commitment of agencies working together to protect our communities by land, sea, and air.

βFor all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.β
