Alabama: A suspect is under arrest after allegedly causing serious injury to an off-duty police officer who was working security at a Montgomery Walmart, according to court filings.

Donovan Keontae Caldwell, 20, of Prattville, was arrested on a second-degree assault charge after a confrontation at the Walmart on Ann Street Tuesday morning.

Caldwell is accused of hitting the victim, a loss prevention officer who was off-duty from his job as an Alabama State University police officer, multiple times in the face after being stopped on suspicion of shoplifting around 11:35 a.m.

On 5/4/26, a @TxDPS Trooper stopped a silver Toyota Corolla on US-277 in Maverick County. During the traffic stop, the Trooper discovered the driver, Adrian John Vargas of Mississippi, was attempting to smuggle two illegal immigrants from Colombia and Honduras.

Vargas was arrested and charged with smuggling of persons. The two illegal immigrants were turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol.

This arrest highlights the continued efforts by Texas DPS Troopers to disrupt human smuggling operations and prevent criminal activity from moving further into the interior of Texas as part of Operation Lone Star.

🇺🇸 BRYAN, TX: The American Legion Post 159 welcomed a new piece of military history to their post.

The post received a M47 Patton tank, which was introduced in the 1950s during the Korean War. It was donated and obtained from Fort Hood and is now on display.

Three World Class American Destroyers just transited, very successfully, out of the Strait of Hormuz, under fire. There was no damage done to the three Destroyers, but great damage done to the Iranian attackers. They were completely destroyed along with numerous small boats, which are being used to take the place of their fully decapitated Navy. These boats went to the bottom of the Sea, quickly and efficiently. Missiles were shot at our Destroyers, and were easily knocked down. Likewise, drones came, and were incinerated while in the air. They dropped ever so beautifully down to the Ocean, very much like a butterfly dropping to its grave! A normal Country would have allowed these Destroyers to pass, but Iran is not a normal Country. They are led by LUNATICS, and if they had the chance to use a Nuclear Weapon, they would do it, without question — But they’ll never have that opportunity and, just like we knocked them out again today, we’ll knock them out a lot harder, and a lot more violently, in the future, if they don’t get their Deal signed, FAST!
