WATCH LIVE: President Donald J. Trump Participates in the White House Small Business Summit
https://fb.watch/GUIwMy67ih/
POTUS welcomes small business owners to the White House during National Small Business Week:
"You're the lifeblood of the American economy, and with your help, we're truly Making America Great Again." ๐บ๐ธ
POTUS details how his historic tax cut has helped American small businesses:
"We provided 100% expensing and bonus depreciation... so that businesses can deduct 100% of the cost of new facilities, equipment, and capital investment in the first year."
POTUS: "Weโre getting rid of 129 nonsense regulations for every new one that we pass, and thanks to these pro-growth policies, our economy is roaring, and factory construction is way up... business investment is more than triple compared to that of just a short time ago."
Rick Harrison speaks at the White House on National Small Business Week: "The backbone of this country is small businessโplain and simple... The Big Beautiful Bill, absolutely amazing... he's going to go down as maybe the best president ever. I love this guy."
Andrew Saville, President of Georgia-based Coosa Steel: "The thing that took us right to the top was your tariffs... all the jobs that were going to China, you brought them back, and it really took us to the next level." ๐บ๐ธ
SBA Kelly: "In 2025 alone, we guaranteed a record $45 billion in lending to 85,000 small businesses through local banks. Thatโs an all-time record at the SBAgov โ and we did it with 53% fewer staff at the agency."
POTUS honors Mark Lamoncha, President & CEO of Humtown Products, for being named the SBAgov National Small Business Person of the Year:
"We have a 10% increase in hiring, and weโll be able to buy more of those million dollar printers that we were able to print the 'Fight! Fight! Fight!' statue that was in Butler."

BREAKING: Gunshots fired near the White House complex, at 15th and Independence.
Secret Service locking down press office and other locations.
More details will be provided as they become available.
UPDATE: "U.S. Secret Service personnel are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting at 15th Street and Independence Avenue in Washington, D.C. One individual was shot by law enforcement; their condition is currently unknown. Please avoid the area as emergency crews are responding."
UPDATE: A juvenile bystander was shot but not critically injured in an exchange between Secret Service officers and an armed man near the White House complex Monday afternoon, according to the Secret Service.
At least one Secret Service Uniformed Division officer shot and apprehended the suspect Monday afternoon before President Trumpโs press conference, Secret Service Deputy Director Matt Quinn confirmed.
The suspect and the juvenile are now at George Washington Hospital, Quinn.
No Uniformed Division officers were short or hurt. Quinn did not say whether the juvenile was a boy or a girl and what type of injuries the child suffered.
โI can tell you that at least one bystander โ we believe only one โ was hit by the suspect,โ Quinn told reporters at press conference late Monday afternoon. โThat individual is a juvenile, did not sustain any life-threatening injuries, and is also receiving treatment at the hospital.โ
Quinn said an investigation is underway, but so far the agency could not say whether the child was hit by the suspect or the Secret Service officer, although he noted that โeverything Iโve seen leads me to believe the juvenile was struck by the suspect.โ
The deputy director also noted that Vice President J.D. Vanceโs motorcade had driven through this area โnot longโ before the shooting, though the suspect didnโt appear to have attacked or targeted the motorcade.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. Monday, Secret Service patrols spotted a suspicious individual who appeared to have a gun. Patrol officers located and confronted him, and the suspect fled briefly on foot then withdrew a firearm and fired in the direction of the Secret Service agents and officers, Quinn said.
At least one Secret Service officer then opened fire on the suspect, shot and apprehended him.
โThese are trained surveillance detection personnel looking every day for just that,โ Quinn said. โThey observed a visual print of a firearm not far from the White House complex.โ
The Secret Service has recovered the suspectโs firearm.

33% reduction in felonious โLine of Duty Deathsโ for our law enforcement partners compared to Q1 last year. These men and women are more than a number - one is still too many, so we have more work to do. But this is headed in the right direction.

Today, I had the honor of joining state and local law enforcement officers and community members at the annual California Peace Officersโ Memorial Ceremony.
The officers we recognize today represent the very best of California. Their legacy is lasting โ in the lives they saved, the communities they protected, and the example they set for all of us.
California will forever be indebted to their sacrifice and service.

Visited Spencer Pratt's neighborhood yesterday in the Palisades almost a year and half after the fire. Sad.
Los Angeles needs change, I grew up here in the 70โs when it was strawberry and orange fields and went to elementary, junior high, high school and college here, opened businesses up here, raised my family for 58 years and theyโre raising their families here. This is the worst itโs ever been. It isnโt about what side youโre on itโs about making our city we all live in safe again, clean again, get the homeless help and off the streets. ๐ทginarodriguez

Virginia: Just before yesterday, Chesterfield Fire and EMS crews responded to a call for a house fire in the 3000 block of Newquay Lane. The first firefighters that arrived on scene found smoke and fire coming from several sides of the home. They were able to get the fire under control in less than 30 minutes.
A Chesterfield Police officer was able to pull one person out of the home before firefighters arrived on scene. That person was transported to an area hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. In addition, one Chesterfield Police officer was treated on scene for minor injuries, and one Chesterfield firefighter also suffered a non-life-threatening injury. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for their recovery๐๐ป
Three people are displaced as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire has been determined to be a propane torch that was being used as a heating source.
