If itโ€™s so easily disprovable, then disprove it.

DC has 543 cops per 100k people, more than all other big cities and more than double the rate in LA. And thatโ€™s before taking into account the National Guard, WMATA police, Park police, and dozens of other agencies.

Brett Heinz

If itโ€™s 543 per 100,000, and the city has 750,000 residents, that means we would have 4,073 cops. We only have 3,149.

Maybe math isnโ€™t your strong suit.

This morning I ran into Robinson Moses, commonly known as Officer Moses. It was different seeing him out of uniform, but I know heโ€™ll continue to do great things regardless.

UPDATE: Former Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge has filed an appeal of her firing and plans to challenge the decision through arbitration and lawsuits, her attorney said Friday.

Attorney Stephen Imm said the appeal seeks to overturn what he called an unlawful termination and to have the case reviewed quickly.

โ€œWe will be asking for the appeal to be heard as soon as reasonably possible, so that this grossly unfair and illegal action can be promptly reversed,โ€ Imm said in a statement.

WATCH LIVE: President Donald J. Trump touts admin's efforts to help seniors during event in The Villages, Florida

POTUS in The Villages: "We're here to celebrate a policy that benefits every American senior all across this land, and it's called No Tax on Social Security. It's done!"

"Thanks to this massive tax cut, American Seniors just received your largest tax refunds of all time... That means more money to visit your grandkids, a bigger budget for taking a trip."

"Under the Trump administration, we're standing up for American Seniors like no president has ever stood up before. Just as I promised, we're strongly protecting Social Security and Medicareโ€”and we always will."

POTUS on Ilhan Omar: "I believe she married her brother, which is totally illegal โ€” although, itโ€™s a lovely couple, actually, but itโ€™s a little bit on the illegal side."

"'Darling, I love you very much.' 'Goodnight, brother. Letโ€™s go to bed' โ€” Isn't she despicable?" ๐Ÿคฃ

POTUS touts massive retirement fund gains under his leadership:

"Starting next year, every citizen will be able to go to TrumpIRA.gov and sign up for a high quality, low-cost IRAโ€”so that everyone can benefit from the rising stock market." ๐Ÿ”ฅ

"We added 186,000 private sector jobs in March, jobless claims just hit the lowest level since 1969," says POTUS in The Villages.

"Very importantly for our great seniors... you have no estate tax, you have no death tax. We made interest on new car loans tax deductible."

Florida grandmother joins POTUS on stage:

"The Big Beautiful Bill helped my husband and I so much this year. We were so shocked when we picked up our tax return... It was double what we thought we would get. We ended up using some of that money to pay for a new roof." โค๏ธ

DrPhil celebrates the return of No Tax on Social Security with POTUS in The Villages: "Your benefits were never supposed to be taxed to begin with. That was the deal the American government made with the American people, and from 1935 until 1983, that was the deal."

POTUS: Today, we delivered a huge win for our great fishermen and anglers here in Florida. We've just officially approved ALL STATE PERMITS for the 2026 Red Snapper recreational season.

POTUS: "I want to thank Border Patrol, and I want to thank ICE."

*MASSIVE CHEERS*

POTUS: "That's nice. They'll be happy to hear that." โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

PRESS RELEASE - Human Trafficking / Attempted Murder / Narcotics and Firearms Arrest -

The Monterey County Sheriffโ€™s Office has arrested a Castroville man following an extensive investigation involving allegations of human trafficking, attempted murder, narcotics sales, weapons violations, and violent crimes against a female victim.

On April 23rd, 2026, at approximately 11:45 PM, witnesses observed a male subject strangling a female near the shopping center located at 11290 Merritt Street in Castroville. Monterey County Sheriffโ€™s deputies were notified, and an on-duty sergeant quickly responded to the area and located the female victim. Deputies also located a vehicle associated with the suspect containing items of evidentiary value nearby.

During the investigation, the female victim reported that she was being sexually trafficked by the suspect, identified as 31-year-old Eric Adam Melendez of Castroville, who had fled the area prior to law enforcement arrival. Detectives with the Monterey County Sheriffโ€™s Office Violent Crimes Unit responded and assumed the investigation.

On April 28th, 2026, at approximately 3:15 PM, following an extensive investigation, detectives located Melendez driving a silver Honda CRV in the City of Salinas. Detectives initiated a traffic stop and Melendez was taken into custody without further incident.

During the arrest, detectives discovered Melendez to be in possession of a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, quantities of heroin and fentanyl, cash, scales, and additional evidence consistent with narcotics sales. Detectives subsequently served follow-up search warrants at multiple locations throughout Monterey County. During those searches, detectives located condoms, lingerie, perfumes, additional narcotics, a firearm, and other evidence believed to be associated with the sexual trafficking of human beings. Detectives also obtained evidence indicating Melendez threatened the victimโ€™s life with a knife and attempted to dissuade her from cooperating with law enforcement and pursuing charges.

Based on the severity of the crimes and evidence uncovered during the investigation, detectives obtained a $1,000,000 bail enhancement and secured an emergency protective order for the victim.

Detectives believe there is a strong possibility that additional victims may exist who have not yet reported their victimization involving Eric Adam Melendez. Anyone with information related to this investigation is encouraged to contact Detective Janelli Arroyo at 831-755-7261 or Detective Sergeant Nicholas Kennedy at 831-755-3773.

The Monterey County Sheriffโ€™s Office remains committed to investigating crimes involving violence, exploitation, and human trafficking while working to protect victims and hold offenders accountable.

Melendez was booked into the Monterey County Jail on multiple charges, including:
