Thankfully another deputy immediately returned fire and the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rest in Peace, Deputy Sheriff Thomas “Walker” LeMay of the Leflore County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma. End of Watch: April 19, 2026.

Deputy Sheriff LeMay served with the Leflore County Sheriff’s office for 18 months. Prior to that, he spent 4 years with the Heavener Police Department. He is survived by his 5-year-old daughter, mother, and step father.

The FBI sends our prayers and condolences to Deputy Sheriff LeMay’s family, friends, and colleagues left behind. They will have our full support.

NEW: $1.8M stolen from armored truck in Philadelphia, getaway vehicle found, police sources say.

Two armed men stole $1.8 million from a Brinks armored truck in Philadelphia’s Tacony section on Tuesday morning, police sources told Action News. The robbery occurred around 9:45 a.m. in the 7200 block of Torresdale Avenue, where the suspects allegedly used rifles during the heist.

Authorities say the suspects fled in a blue getaway vehicle, which was later found near Front Street and Fairmount Avenue in Northern Liberties. No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made as the FBI now leads the investigation into the robbery in the busy business district.

BREAKING: A federal grand jury in Alabama charged the Southern Poverty Law Center with 11 counts of wire and bank fraud-related charges, the Justice Department announced, accusing the group of paying members of extremist groups as part of its efforts to investigate them.

“The SPLC is manufacturing racism to justify its existence,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. “Using donor money to allegedly profit off Klansmen cannot go unchecked. This Department of Justice will hold the SPLC and every other fraudulent organization operating with the same deceptive playbook accountable. No entity is above the law.”
