Praying for the Baltimore Police officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty last night.🙏🏻

A Baltimore police officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car during a foot chase in Northwest Baltimore on Wednesday night, authorities said.

Officers from the Northwest District responded to the 5700 block of Reisterstown Road around 8:19 p.m. in search of a 42-year-old man who police said is wanted for armed robbery.

A vehicle not involved in the chase hit the officer who was in the process of arresting the suspect, a Baltimore Police spokesperson confirmed.

The officer was taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. Baltimore Police did not provide any further updates on his condition on Thursday.

The suspect was taken into custody following the pursuit.

Washington DC: Secret Service officer injured after ‘physical altercation’ with White House barrier jumper.

"Shortly after 11:30 a.m., a man was quickly detained by uniformed US Secret Service police officers after jumping over a construction bollard near the Treasury Building on the northeast side of the complex,” protective agency spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement.

“Officers encountered the individual near a pedestrian gate, where he engaged in a physical altercation before being taken into custody,” Guglielmi added.

TRAFFIC STOP TURNS INTO MAJOR DRUG BUST

Waller County deputies seized more than 15 pounds of MDMA during a traffic stop April 16. Authorities say the drugs were found in a shoebox in the trunk, along with a small amount of marijuana.

Two people — Gage Courtney and Deungray Prince — were arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver. Courtney also faces a marijuana charge.

Sheriff’s officials say they’ll continue cracking down on drug activity to keep the community safe.

BREAKING: Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons submitted his resignation to DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin today, Bill Melugin reports.

He will be staying on until May 31st to help with the transition. He oversaw roughly 584,000 ICE deportations since President Trump’s inauguration, and plans to go into the private sector and spend more time with his family.

Lyons has served in ICE for nearly 20 years, and previously served in the U.S. Air Force & as a city police officer. He is close with Tom Homan and has the respect of the ICE rank & file.

Finding his replacement will be one of DHS Secretary Mullin’s first big tasks.
