Illinois: 2 Cook County Sheriff’s deputies were injured while breaking up a large teen fight, sending 1 to the hospital.

The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon, Chicago Police & Cook County Sheriff’s Police responded to calls of shots fired. When they arrived, they observed a physical altercation involving multiple juveniles, according to Chitown Crime Chasers X page.

As the deputies attempted to intervene, 2 female juvenile offenders struck both deputies. One sustained bruises to the face and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition. The other was bruised in the hip and denied medical treatment.

BREAKING: ICE picked Luis Marcano-Marcano this morning from the Mecklenburg County Jail, Joe Bruno reports.

Court records show Marcano posted his $25K secured bond last night. With a detainer in place, ICE had 48 hours to pick him up before he was released. Judge Karen McCallum lowered his bond from $1 million secured to $25K secured.

Court documents say the Venezuelan is a known TdA gang member in the country illegally. He was living in Mint Hill at the time of his arrest.  According to the affidavit, after Marcano's birthday party he and his wife were sitting on their back porch and got into an argument. He admitted to shooting the ground next to her feet.

When he put the gun on the rail, his wife grabbed the pistol and attempted to put it in her pocket but accidentally pulled the trigger. The bullet struck her stomach and she killed her unborn 7 month old baby.

Court documents say Marcano drove his wife to the hospital, dropped her off, then went back to their home, grabbed the pistol and threw it in the woods.   The affidavit says Luis Marcano-Marcano is a known member of the Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang.

Over the past couple of days, Arkansas State Police Troop J Troopers, along with officers from the Russellville Police Department, assisted The Long Road Home Project participants with a portion of their 220+ mile horseback ride across Arkansas, by providing escort support through some high traffic areas.

The purpose of the ride, which began on April 8 in Bentonville, is for foster care awareness, and is scheduled to conclude at the State Capitol on April 22.

We’re happy to have had the opportunity to take part in such a worthwhile cause!

New York: A man is set to be charged with assault after Rochester Police say he was intoxicated and injured an officer on Dewey Avenue near Costar Street.

Police say the man, 24, was walking in the middle of the road on Wednesday around 11:20 p.m. According to RPD, when the officer was trying to detain him for mental health reasons, the man fought with and injured the officer in the lower body.

The Dallas Police Department, Texas, sadly announced the death of Senior Corporal Christopher Blow, #10622, who passed away while off-duty following a medical emergency.

"On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, Senior Corporal Christopher Blow, #10622, passed away while off-duty following a medical emergency on an airplane. Senior Corporal Blow served the Dallas Police Department with dedication since 2013 and was most recently assigned to the Vice Unit.

I shot this video while on a boat in the Rio Grande in Del Rio, TX on 9/18/2021 as 15,000+ Haitians flooded across the border illegally and set up a camp underneath the international bridge. Mayorkas later admitted 12,000+ of them were released into the U.S.

NEW: Legislation that would designate a portion of U.S. 322 in Cleveland to honor fallen Officer Jamieson Ritter has cleared the Ohio Senate.

Lawmakers on Wednesday unanimously backed a bill that would designate a portion of the U.S. route as the “Cleveland Police Officer Jamieson Ritter Memorial Highway.” It would attach to Chester Avenue from East 40th Street near the Third District police headquarters to the intersection at East 81st Street where Ritter was shot.

California still pays the nation’s highest gas prices — thanks to the taxes, mandates, and anti-production policies you championed for years.
