Praying for the Phoenix Police officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty last night.

Arizona: A Phoenix police officer was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after a car traveling in the opposite direction hit a patrol vehicle Monday evening in central Phoenix, authorities said.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the crash occurred in the area of Seventh Avenue and Heatherbrae Drive around 6:28 p.m., and a second officer in the vehicle was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
The driver of the car involved in the crash refused transport. However, they were detained, and potential charges will be decided once the investigation is complete, police said.

NEW: Two people, including an officer, were injured in a car crash on Sunday morning in Houston.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred on Reed Road near Rosehaven Drive at around 12:40 a.m.

A police patrol vehicle and a car were involved in the collision. The patrol vehicle had two officers on board.

One officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. One person in the other car sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

BREAKING: New Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) accuser Lonna Drewes alleges in press conference that Swalwell  drugged and raped her in 2018, choking her to the point of unconsciousness, in a West Hollywood hotel room, Bill Melugin reports.

Said Swalwell also offered to use his connections to help her software company. Her attorney says immediately after the press conference, they will be filing a police report with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and will be providing evidence, including text messages and photos.
