Nashua Man Arrested After Foot Pursuit Leaves Officer Injured
NASHUA, NH β A local man is facing multiple felony charges after a foot chase with police resulted in a serious injury to a responding officer on Friday.
Charles Brant, 44, of Nashua, was taken into custody on April 3, 2026, following an incident at the City of Nashua Warming Station located at Elm Street Middle School.
According to authorities, Nashua Police Department officers were conducting a routine check of the warming station premises when they observed Brant in the company of an individual protected by an active Criminal Bail Protection Order. The order stemmed from a previous domestic violence-related incident and strictly prohibited Brant from having contact with the victim.
When officers moved to place Brant under arrest for the violation, he allegedly fled the scene on foot.
A foot chase ensued as officers pursued Brant through the area. During the struggle to take him into custody, one officer sustained a fractured wrist, categorized as a Serious Bodily Injury (SBI). Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for his recoveryππ»
Upon his arrest, police reportedly discovered that Brant was in possession of both Cocaine and Crack Cocaine.
Brant faces a slew of charges related to the encounter, including:
Resisting Arrest causing SBI (Class B Felony)
Possession of a Controlled Drug (Two counts, Class B Felony)
Stalking; Domestic Violence (Class A Misdemeanor)

Praying for the Marion Police officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty this afternoon.ππ»
An officer was injured during the arrest of a suspect who led police on a chase in Marion, Arkansas, on Monday afternoon, the Marion Arkansas Police Department said.
27-year-old Joshua Henry was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including battery-2nd degree (injuring police, fire, code enforcement, or correctional in line of duty), escape-3rd degree (escaping from custody), fleeing, fugitive from justice, theft of a vehicle valued at $25,000 or more, and possession of drugs.
According to police, while an officer was placing the suspect into the patrol unit, the suspect began fighting the officer and was able to take control of the unit and drive away.
Marion Police officers, with the assistance of the Crittenden County Sheriff's Office, West Memphis Police Department, and Arkansas State Police, were able to find the stolen patrol car, which led to a pursuit. The pursuit was ended by a TVI by Arkansas State Police on I-40 East, and the suspect was placed into custody.
While arresting the suspect, a Marion Police officer was hit by another car at the scene, police said. The officer was taken to Regional One and is in stable condition.
