Over the weekend, a man reportedly smashed a glass bottle over another person’s head, prompting a woman to pull a knife and stab three people during an altercation at Zaya, a popular restaurant located in a historic building Downtown.

Reports suggest the dispute may have stemmed from an argument over a restaurant bill, though officials have not confirmed that detail. Police say at least two individuals were taken into custody.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Last month the Atlanta Gladiators hosted Heroes Night, bringing the community together to recognize the service and sacrifice of first responders.

During the event, fallen Gwinnett County Police Officer Pradeep Tamang was honored with his photo displayed on the jumbotron, giving attendees a moment to reflect on his legacy and dedication to serving others.

Members of the Gwinnett County SWAT team rappelled from the rafters in a coordinated demonstration, highlighting the specialized skills used to protect the community. K9 Krypto, a bomb dog, also took part, dropping a ceremonial puck to officially begin the game.

Heroes Night served as a meaningful reminder of the commitment and courage shown by public safety professionals every day. To top off the night, the Gladiators won in overtime.

Texas: A suspect was killed, and an officer suffered minor injuries in a shooting that happened over the weekend in Montague County.

Very few details have been released about the shooting that happened on Sunday.

Please, pray for the Kentucky State Trooper who was seriously injured in the line of duty Sunday morning.🙏🏻

Two people are dead, and a Kentucky State Police trooper is seriously injured following a crash in Hazard on Sunday morning.
According to KSP, the crash happened shortly after 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of KY-80 and Perry Circle Road in Hazard.

KSP says that a trooper from Post 13 was traveling east on KY-80, responding to an emergency call for service in Knott County, when another vehicle traveling west on KY-80 attempted to turn left onto Perry Circle Road, crossing into the path of the trooper's vehicle and causing the two to collide in the intersection.
The Perry County Coroner’s Office pronounced the driver and passenger of the second vehicle dead at the scene.

According to KSP, the trooper suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center before being flown to UK Chandler Medical Center.
